Day 7
So many reasons to celebrate Sunday, and we did! But in the chaos of it all I allowed myself time to buy a small bunch of flowers for myself. I deserve them. I raised three beautiful daughters, I work hard, love hard, and throw a damn good bridal shower!
Day 7
Welcome to Revolutionary Peace, Love & Travel ✨
Hey friends — I’m so glad you’re here 💌 This community is your home for Revolutionary Peace, Love & Travel — a space where adventures (both inner and outer) guide us back to presence, alignment, and joy. From quick 7-day challenges to 30-day workbooks to deeper courses, you’ll find practices and reflections here that help you slow down, notice the magic, and live with more freedom. Think of this as a shared journey: one part travel guide, one part peace practice, all part of living fully. Someday isn’t out there in the future — it’s right now. ✨ But first — let’s get to know each other! Here are some fun ways to jump in (choose one, or all): 🗣️ Introduce yourself + share a pic of your current view or workspace. 🎬 Tell us your favorite movie or a book you’ve re-read more than once. 🌍 Share one place you’ve been that made time feel different. ✨ Or just drop a GIF that matches your current mood. I’ll go first in the comments so you can get to know me — then it’s your turn! 💛

I couldn’t answer just one place that felt like time was different (and I spent too long arguing with myself about it) so - most favorite (recent) book “The Women” by Kristen Hannah. Laughed, cried, and reading it for the second time.

@Tanya Pence Highly recommend. You would really like it. I have a few others you’d like too!
Welcome to Day 2!
I just listened to the recording. It's weird hearing your own voice. If you are in the challenge and not sure how to start. Along the top, you see the word Classroom, click there. The challenge will come up. If you missed Day One, you are not behind, you're right on time. Day 2 is going to take a little effort. I'm trying to decide which one I will choose. I am a frequenter sunrise viewer. I'll be at it tomorrow for sure, but it's on my regular schedule. Yesterday, I went to Rosh Hashana at a friend's and tried new foods and had an amazing memorable experience. But day 2 falls in between, life is like that right? It's not giving this one to me for free. I still need to work at it. I'll let you know at the end of the day which option I chose. I am excited to hear from you again too! Wander in Wonder ✨

Not really a new restaurant, but gave myself permission to order crab legs, on a Tuesday, for no reason. Took them back to my hotel (on a business trip by myself) and ate them. Not only were they fabulous, but why save them for a special occasion?

How do you define peace?
Our challenge group is growing! I would love a quick intro and your thoughts on peace. What does it mean to you?

Peace can be so many things. I used to think of peace in a very broad view. Peace on earth, no war, everyone getting along…. But I’ve learned through life lessons, age, and some very inspirational people, that peace is me. It’s how I choose to do things. It’s what I choose to make me happy or what I allow to get me upset. It’s who I surround myself with. It’s what I let myself enjoy and what I choose to ignore. It certainly not easy, especially right now. Both intrusive and extrinsic factors weigh heavy, and how I wish there were more hours in the day. But in this moment, after working over 60+hours, just sitting down to eat dinner, remembering that I forgot to do multiple things this week, trying to figure out how to get 100 things done in the next few days, sorting through bad news and bills, I choose Peace.
