Day 3 wandering
I had a full day. A Prayer brunch this morning and then golf with my son. I wasn't sure what I was going to do for today .. So as I drove home I figured I'd get off a few exits early and find something new on my way home. Well, little did I know I would end up at the music in the park, food trucks and farmers market in Fenton 😉 I guess that is the whole premise. When we do things different, we never know what might be waiting to be discoverd.

Day 3 wandering
Day two!!
I didn't get a chance to try a new cafe or anything that exciting. I got in my exciting moments when I taught tonight. Everyone was settled on their mats and I asked them to move to the wall for a different style class. I hadn't taught one in a long time either. Getting out of a rut and into the moment felt amazing! (And now i know I get to treat myself tomorrow!!

Day one 🕜
If you are new here, you may be looking for the challenge. At the top you see "community" and right next to it, it says "classroom". Enter the classroom and you will see the Permission to Live option. Each day has a graphic, 3 options to choose from. If you are feeling wild and crazy you can do more, but the challenge is to pick one. The best part is sharing here! Do not be shy. It is motivating knowing others are doing this alongside you! There is an audio you are welcome to listen to, as well.

I realized when I went to yoga that I hadn't considered the challenge today. So during class I felt the ripples in the wood floor beside my mat. The cold temperature of the floor vs the heat of the room. The pants I was wearing having the greatest softness. The texture of a yoga mat I've had for 13 years. The thickness, stickiness and love that live in its fibers. I did go for a walk outside that I took in the height of the trees and the dragonflies that followed me on my journey. Sometimes just moments of remembering to notice our present surroundings begin the lengthening of time.
We begin tomorrow....
To prepare, let's get present TODAY! And my advice... 99% is hell, 100% is easy. Go all in. Don't say "I'll try". If you get in bed tomorrow night and realize you forgot, do it IMMEDIATELY. Fulfill your commitment to yourself and see what shifts in that energy. The one that doesn't give us a pass. The one that knows we can and won't settle for less. For today, here is your homework: Notice your life. Notice the way the light hits the wall. The taste of your coffee. The people you love. The breath in your lungs. The small moments you normally rush past. and yes, you can do that from the comfort of your bed before you close your eyes. You can also do it when you shower. When it is noisy. When it is quiet. Notice.

Let's Live a little....
Next week we will be doing the 7 day Permission slip challenge together! We will start on Wednesday. Even if you have done it before, these are things we can do daily and yet often don't pause long enough to do. I hope you will join us! I am looking forward to these daily reminders.
