Travel to Tokyo
Love exploring travel. I help people turn travel into income with photography and video. Just got back from Tokyo. Here is a little video clip I shot there.

Permission to Celebrate Yourself🎉
Wednesday seemed like a good day for a Permission Skip✨ Today you have permission to pause, look back, and actually see yourself — not for what still needs to be done, but for how far you’ve already come. So often we skip the part where we honor our own growth. We race from one milestone to the next, forgetting that celebration is fuel for the journey — not a distraction from it. Today is your reminder that you are worthy of acknowledgment, applause, and joy right now, not “someday.” 💛 Option A: Write down 3 things you’re proud of today. They don’t have to be big or dramatic — maybe you got out of bed when you didn’t want to, showed kindness when you could’ve shut down, or simply kept going. Let your list reflect who you’re becoming, not just what you’ve done. 💫 Option B: Share a win in the group. It could be something internal, like feeling more peaceful, or something external, like finishing a project or having a hard conversation. Let us celebrate you — because your courage gives others permission to shine, too. 🌿 Option C: Do a small celebration ritual. Play your favorite song and dance in your kitchen. Light a candle. Make a toast to yourself. Say out loud, “I’m proud of me.” Mark this moment — because you deserve to be witnessed in your becoming. You don’t need a reason to celebrate — being alive, trying again, and showing up as yourself is reason enough. So raise your glass, your heart, or your energy… and celebrate you. 🥂✨

I’m happy today’s lesson aligned with what was already happening in my day. Meant to be! Long, laborious hours today, but that is where the win happened today I transplanted all 72 plants. 2 years ago when I began this new job I could not even muster 1! It’s like a dual win because it shows just how much strength I’ve gained as well in my almost 3 year gym/lifting journey too.🙌🙌
Permission to Receive ✨
Today you have permission to soften, to open your palms, and allow life to give back to you. Option A: Accept help if it’s offered. Whether someone offers to carry something, buy you coffee, or simply listen — say yes. Let it remind you that receiving is an act of trust, not weakness. Option B: Let someone’s compliment land without deflecting. Instead of brushing it off, pause. Breathe it in. Smile and say, “Thank you.” You deserve to be seen. Option C: Treat yourself to something that feels nourishing. Maybe it’s a long shower, a cozy nap, your favorite snack, or a few quiet minutes outside. Give yourself what you usually withhold. Today, you receive — fully and freely.

I actually happened to do all of these things but it didn’t specify to share so I didn’t know if we were supposed to. 🫣I mentioned in the other post about receiving help for moving giant boulders. 🙏🙏 Thanks to Eric. A follower from the dawn of my Snapchat told me I was their favorite and I allowed myself to have the compliment instead of the normal joke or deflection. The long cries that have been coming from me lately have been nourishment for my soul and helping me accept what I cannot change. I’ve been crying for about 30 years to refresh myself.

@Lori Slutsky I can understand how you feel too, I like to be in control, I feel like if someone has to take on the responsibility of it being done incorrectly I’d rather it be on my head than anyone else’s.

I got to see the most amazing Moon set this morning it was HUGE. I let myself have a nice refreshing long cry today. It was needed, I’m sad. I also indulged in a very long nap on the couch in the sunshine. So many decent photos captured in the last few days. I’ve been hunting down huge boulders and must have moved 500-700lbs in rocks to build a new flower bed. I even began wrapping Christmas presents. I’ve been on top of things.

@Tanya Pence 🙌 I normally would not have allowed for it, but I had the permission to receive help and I did for some of the very heavy ones. At least when I got them back home 😅
UPDATE from our Day 2 Challenge!
After 30 years of wanting to take a pottery class, I finally did it! I signed up the day of the challenge and today was day one of a four week foundational class! It was way harder than expected but I have found it definitely held my attention and kept me very present - which I needed! I have a tendency to let my mind wander and here … it’s impossible! After a horrible fail with my first attempt I managed to pull this little bowl off. I’m super excited about it and can’t wait to glaze it soon! How is everyone else doing!?

I’ve always wanted to take a pottery class too, I’m happy to see after 3 whole decades you took the plunge! Seems like it would take a lot of hand and upper body strength or is that not the case? I can’t wait to see the results at the end of your classes! Looks fun!
