You were called for more…
If you don’t know where you’re going, how will you know when you get there? Scripture says “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). And yet, too many entrepreneurs are building their businesses with no clarity letting the world dictate their direction and burning out trying to fit life around work. That’s backwards. God didn’t call you to hustle for survival. He called you to build with purpose. You were made for MORE… …a future filled with hope. But that starts with obedience. It starts with VISION. Get clear on what God has called you to build. Know your priorities. Define your nonnegotiables. Then build a life, and business, that honors Him. You weren’t called to be busy. You were Called For More.

This really spoke to me! The reminder that we’re not called to just be busy but to build with purpose and vision is powerful.

Hi I am Babar Arshad. I am from Frisco, TX born in Lahore, Pakistan. I am a tech entrepreneur with a passion for innovation. With over a decade of experience - I identify as a Builder. My tagline is: I love to build; products and teams, brands and dreams. I've successfully launched multiple of my own products and teams, and now I'm dedicated to helping others navigate their journeys. I'm excited to share my expertise in tech and entrepreneurship and to inspire others to embrace technology as a powerful tool for growth. I've faced my fair share of challenges in my journey, from setbacks and failures to lessons learned and successes. I believe tech should be simple, beautiful, and leverageable - a return on investment, not an expense. I'm committed to helping young startup founders kickstart their ventures using the lessons I've learned throughout my career. Beyond tech, I'm a sports enthusiast who recognizes the value of sports in personal development. I enjoy exploring new cultures through travel, particularly in South America and Asia and I'm always looking for opportunities to learn and grow. My best referrals are small to mid size company executives looking to build technology. Excited to be a part of BLN and looking forward to connecting with fellow innovators, sharing ideas and learning from each other's experiences.

Happy Father’s Day!!!
Are you overwhelmed?
Are you feeling overwhelmed? You’re not alone. Even the most resilient leaders can find themselves swamped by the sheer volume of tasks and responsibilities. Let's tackle that overwhelm together with these practical tips and strategies: 🔹 Prioritize & Delegate Not everything is urgent. Identify high-priority tasks and delegate where possible. Trust your team - they’re there to support you! 🔹 Set Boundaries Work-life balance is crucial. Set strict work hours and stick to them. Clearly communicate your availability to your team and clients. 🔹 Practice Mindfulness Take short breaks during your day to breathe, meditate, or simply step outside. Mindfulness can help reset your mind and reduce stress levels. 🔹 Organize Your Space A cluttered workspace can lead to a cluttered mind. Dedicate a few minutes each day to tidy up your surroundings. 🔹 Break Tasks into Chunks Large projects can feel daunting. Break them into smaller, manageable tasks and tackle them one at a time. 🔹 Stay Hydrated & Nourished It’s easy to neglect your well-being during busy times. Keep hydrated, eat nutritious meals, and try to get adequate sleep. Your productivity depends on it! 🔹 Leverage Technology Use productivity tools like project management software, calendar apps, and communication platforms to streamline your workflow and keep track of your tasks. 🔹 Seek Support Connect with fellow members of our Business Leaders Network Community. Share your challenges, seek advice, and offer support. We're all in this together! 🔹 Learn to Say No It's okay to turn down non-essential tasks and commitments. Focus on what's truly important and don't overextend yourself. Remember, feeling overwhelmed is a sign that it’s time to reassess and strategize. By implementing these tips, you can regain control and lead with clarity and confidence. Share your own strategies below and let’s support each other in navigating the ebbs and flows of business leadership!

@Anna Diaz I have learned to do this more and to do it first thing to not forget. With so much going on and then attempting to remember it all I fall short. So I put everything I can on my calendar and I set reminders. Sticky notes on my Windows pc and in Notes on my Mac.

@Tiffany Troso-Sandoval What are your ways of dealing with it and leveling out to a place more manageable?
Summer Break!
☀️ Okay - so it's summer time and the need to be outside is stronger than ever. I've told people for years that I'm 'solar-powered'. I'm the girl who could sit on a beach and watch the surf for hours and not get bored. I could sit next to a pool on vacation and people-watch all day (and be treated to non-stop pina coladas) and feel like I was living in absolute luxury. So, with the outdoors calling to me, how do I make sure business doesn't fizzle like pouring water on the campfire? Here are a couple of tips that I thought you might enjoy... and I'd love to hear what you're doing this summer to keep your business growing. And if you're taking the summer off, what are some things you have in place to keep "the doors open"? ☀️ Angel's Summer Biz Tips: - Set Boundaries: Clearly communicate my work hours to family and friends to minimize interruptions. And to be sure that I schedule just as much time "away" from the office as I do "at the office". - Stay Inspired: Read books, listen to podcasts, or catch up on webinars to keep my entrepreneurial spirit alive. I like to pick up the phone and chat with my entrepreneur friends - not a zoom where I have to be indoors and camera-ready, but I sit outside and have an old-fashioned conversation that energizes me. - Reward myself: Set milestones and rewards like happy hour with a friend, ice cream or an early dinner for achieving them helps me stay motivated. It can be tough to maintain your focus and productivity throughout the summer, so I'd love to hear what you're doing to focus on growing.

I completely relate to being 'solar-powered'! Balancing the desire to be outside with maintaining business can be tricky. I try to set specific outdoor breaks to recharge and reward myself, which helps keep my business from fizzling out. Your tips are a great reminder. Thanks for sharing!
