Growing your community might be the wrong goal right now
Unpopular opinion. Most Skool owners are chasing the wrong number. Everyone wants more members. More signups, bigger leaderboard, higher count. But I have watched people hit 500 members and still have a dead, silent room. And I have watched someone with 30 members build something people would pay double to stay in. Member count is a vanity number. Depth is the real one. Depth is how many people showed up this week. How many felt seen. How many got a win they credit to you. A small room where people feel something beats a big room where they feel nothing, every time. Grow later. First, build a place worth growing. I run a community for owners who care more about depth than headcount. Free for 7 days, then $9 a month, less than a lunch out: https://skool.com/memberflow Real question, and I want honest answers: right now, are you optimizing for growth or for depth? And which one are you using to hide from the other? 👇

Depth. No doubt. Skool Dads and Memberflow help make it so.

My first 5 communities taught me the thing my 6th one got right
I am on my sixth Skool community. I do not say that to brag. I say it because the first 5 taught me everything by going wrong first. Community 1, I built for everyone, so it was for no one. Community 2, I posted constantly and welcomed no one, so it was loud and empty. Community 3, I priced too high too early and heard crickets. Community 4, I chased features instead of people. Community 5, I burned out doing all of it at once. Community 6 is the first one that actually works, and it is not because I got smarter. It is because I got simpler. One hour a day, 4 moves, welcome every single person, ship one thing, invite new people. That is it. You do not need 5 failures to learn this. You can just take mine. I turned the simple version into my community: https://skool.com/memberflow Question for you: which number are you on, and what did the last one teach you? Drop it below 👇

I'm on community #1. Been at it for a full year. I've learned to post consistently, welcome each person individually, and MemberFlow is definitely a tool that makes it easier and fun to keep building my community.
#FriendFriday 🎉
It's time to celebrate each other! In the COMMENTS BELOW, please share a Skool community you think is doing really great things. It can be one you've participated in yourself or one that you've heard from others is amazing. Please do the following: 1. Tell us the name of the community and link to it (affiliates allowed). 2. Tag the person who owns the community. If they are not in the CLASSIFIEDS, then please send them a DM and let them know that you mentioned them here. I promise you will make their day! 3. Describe why the group is so wonderful and how it has helped you. Please DO NOT just copy and paste the About page! 4. Comment on each others comments and scroll through the referrals to see if there's an amazing group you are missing out on! Thanks so much for supporting each other and this community! Please note that any #FriendFriday mentions that are created as new posts will be deleted. Thanks! Please DO NOT promote yourself. 🤨. The entire community is for promoting yourself. This post is for celebrating someone else. 😊
