Jamie was hard at it again today. Unfortunately the score line was not in their favour once again 🫣. I'm just looking for opinions his coach has told him he is not to take goal kicks as this something he is working to improve. But he trains in a games hall in winter with no mats, and is being told he is not allowed to take goal kicks another player is to take all corners, all goal kicks, free kicks and any penalties. My argument is he is not allowed to kick indoors or at matches when can he improve his kicks? Other than we I take him out. Is this normal practise?

Jamie had another tough match this weekend his team losing to a stronger team. He did some great saves and nearly got 2 penalty saves out of 2 matches he saved it but the team scored on the rebound. Just a wee question is it normal for coaches to shout negative comments during a match to the goal keeper or should comments be kept for training/ half time and explained in a calm manner? He kicked and cleared the ball when he could of picked it up but he still cleared it but he got screamed at from the sidelines. In Jamie's defence he said sometimes it's not easy to see so just does what he thinks is right at the time. I did not get a video of his penalty save but go another of his saves. He has also had man of the Match twice in last 3 games. So big shout out to everyone on here for all the advice/ help
