Gideon Didn’t Feel Ready. He Led Anyway
Gideon was hiding in a winepress when God called him a warrior. (Judges 6) He didn’t believe it. He said, “I’m the weakest. My tribe is the smallest.” But God didn’t care about stats. He cared about heart. Gideon didn’t lead with ego. He led with obedience. He tore down idols. He built altars. And with just 300 men, he crushed an army. Servant leaders don’t wait to feel ready. They move scared. They lead small. They trust big. If you’ve ever felt too broken, too quiet, or too unqualified to lead; this post is for you. Lead anyway.

You have a friend like no other!
7 days before I turned 10 my mother got an early morning phone call. I was still in bed but heard the ringing and then a few minutes later there was a loud thud. I jumped out of bed ran to the kitchen to find my mom unconscious on the floor. The receiver was dangling from the phone mounted on the wall and I could hear a voice calling. When I picked it up it was a doctor from the hospital over a 100 miles away where my father had been taken two weeks earlier. The doctor told me my father had died and then abruptly hung up. My mother had passed out and a few minutes later came to and our lives changed forever. The following year after attending the Anglican church I invited Jesus into my life. I came to understand that even though I'd lost my earthly father I had a heavenly father who knew everything about me and would never leave me. "O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD." —PSALM 139:1–4

Isn't it amazing how God loves us soo much. He knows our beginning, end, and everything in between to the point He knew we would need a friend.
Breakthroughs
Some of the biggest breakthroughs in our lives often come in the smallest packages. Think about it. The subtle shift in perspective, the quiet conversation that changes everything, or that tiny seed of an idea you can't stop thinking about. These aren't always grand, huge moments. They're the quiet nudges that lead to monumental change. It's easy to overlook the small things, but that's where the real blessing happens. So, the next time you're searching for a breakthrough, don't just look for the big, flashy ideas. Pay attention to the quiet whispers and the tiny sparks. You just might find exactly what you're looking for.

@Larry Scarbeau Simply because truth whispered is often more powerful than noise shouted. Stillness isn’t weakness; it’s wisdom's waiting room.
