Is On-page SEO Sufficient?
Hey guys. I'm Tausif, a 24 yo Email copywriter turned Freelance SEO copywriter from Pakistan. At the start of this year, I moved from being a Direct Response Copywriting to SEO copywriting. Learned it and then came across Nico's videos. Coincidentally, the same day a friend who is also a Digital marketing agency owner advised me to leverage AI in my work. I took notes from Nico's videos, downloaded them and tested various things he shared all while fasting XD (was an awesome experience) The guy from whom I first learned SEO copywriting on YT (a v small creator) was just writing articles for his clients and many of his were ranking. Though he says to never use AI for SEO writing for some reason... Anyways, now I'm hearing people say that On-page SEO is not enough for a site to rank. Not enough for a blog post to rank. That SEO has changed. In the wake of all this, what would you guys recommend I should do? Should I upskill & learn other types of SEO & use them too? Atm I'm writing for a dental marketing agency & 2 of their clients (dental clinics).. writing 2 articles for each every week. They are my first and only client, and I'm extremely underpaid .. (100 bucks... a month) .. the main reason I agreed to work with them was with hopes to rank some articles and use them as case studies for other prospects.. Thanks a lot, Have a nice day :)

Ok so first we were writing for search engines' crawlers, then we started to write for both Search Engines & Humans and now we have to write for Search Engines, Humans and AI models? Did I get that right

@Max Gibson Absolutely. I'm new to the game, started learning SEO in Februrary. On-page SEO mostly, as I waned to be a SEO Copywriter. Gladly found Nico's videos in March. Ever since been using Chatgpt, Perplexity, Claude heavily.
How To Use AI To Write Blogs In 2025 | Content That Ranks
In this video, we cover some of the top strategies that are working this year for writing high-quality content that actually ranks. It’s broken down into two key approaches: 1. Content at Scale – Efficiently producing high-volume content without sacrificing quality. 2. Personalized Content – Crafting tailored, high-impact content that resonates with your audience. I’m really happy with how this one turned out! BUT remember, great content is just one piece of the SEO puzzle. If you want to master the full strategy, join AI Ranking Premium—you can try it risk-free for seven days. If it’s not for you, I’ll refund you 100%, no questions asked.

Here's what I'm doing currently (learned it from you 3 months ago): Using your Chatgpt SEO KW research helper, I tell him you are a SEO copywriter working for xyz and are planning to write an article on ABC and etc. If I have keywords (i get them from researching on Ubersuggest) I add those in. Then I use it heavily for content strategy, ideas, keyword ideas (which i double check in Ubersuggest) and many other technicalities. Then I ask perplexity for research. The prompt includes keywords and FAQs / Ppl also ask from Google. Then I add in a prompt to claude which I edit each time for different articles, along with research from perplexity. I check the content of the article generated by claude. Sometimes it completely forgets to follow some instructions such as frequency of repetition of some keywords etc. So i have to tell him to do that again. And usually I tell him to humanize the text again. Then I double check the article in 4-5 different AI detectors. After that, I put it in Google docs and read it thoroughly, edit it. Double check external links (which r borrowed authority/quotations) as well as internal links to rest of pages of my client's website. Edit the FAQs section by turning the questions into H3 and bolding the text and giving it a "Q." and "A." Break up paragraphs sometimes or bolding some parts of texts for emphasis or to not make readers lose attention. Then I add in something of my own by reading online (writing it myself). Add in images from Pexels or Meta AI and visuals from Napkin AI or HTML elements sometimes. Make sure CTA is good in the closure. Make sure H2 and H3 tags contain some of Secondary keywords. Make sure H1 tag, title tag, meta description, slug contain the Primary keyword Make sure Slug is not too long and is usually just the primary keyword (Now I'm thinking it should be a question) Also add Image description and Images alt Text to the Images. HOPE, this helps someone. And if @Nicolas Gorrono or someone else whose been into the SEO game for long could let me know if I am making any mistakes or if I could improve something.. I'd appreciate that a lot.
Which AI Writing Tool
Which AI Writing Tool is everyone using. I've been using ChatGPT for quite a while now with customGPTs and projects. I've also tried many of the stand alone Writing tools like Jasper, Writesonic, Aiwriter, machined, and many others. I've finally settled on Claude sonnet 3.7 with a custom prompt. What's everyone else using?
