I’ve got my first comment on the recent YT video from a complete stranger! Omg….Someone took at least 30sec to write up a comment…I can’t believe it! I’ve been jumping in joy 😀. I promised myself that I’m going to celebrate each micro wins with my channel journey when I started. As a high achiever in corporate world, where the validation, success, praise and critiques are immediate, I knew I was going to struggle with the slow burn nature of YT game…..so I really to need to focus on the wins that are within my remit! I recorded my first video today!! Well, my first one in 5 years (I’ve only done 7 ever). Let’s go! Alexa, you have inspired me and made my YT vision seem doable. I’m excited to be part of this encouraging, supportive and positive community. I’m eager to see what I can create and how I can serve people through videos. 👏

I'm really proud of the video I released today! I used a lapel mic for the first time, enabling me to sit further back in the shot. I attempted to compose the shot a bit: just a simple, clean space with no distractions. I tried a different approach to speaking: using notes rather than only free-flow talking (which was a bit too noodle-y for me). This more focused approach really helped me communicate better. This is such a helpful, and also empowering realization. Also, I'm really proud of how my story-telling is coming along.
