Failure... on the way to something better?
I am supposed to release a video tomorrow morning, and I don't have one. I shared recently that I successfully battled through so many challenges over the last six months in order to keep posting on schedule. Well, I got pummeled this week with life's circumstances! And I chose peace and acceptance and rest over forcing myself to make a video I wasn't ready to make. Just wanted to share in case this helps someone else. Hope y'all have a great week <3

This is so powerful. Thank you for the reminder, and for sharing your beautiful Finnish forest walk with us!
6 months of consistent posting! Questions for you.
I am so deeply joyful to have kept this commitment and discipline for the last six months! I have grown in so many ways: - reaching out to this community (despite being an introvert) - stepping out with a topic that was out of my comfort zone (Biblical encouragement for artists) - simplifying my process (research-write-rehearse-record-edit-backend-upload-post) - developing confidence speaking and storytelling on camera - maintaining disciplined consistency despite all kinds of life events (loss of workspace, husband's illness, my own surgeries, family deaths, travel, etc.) Did you feel like you were at a turning point at six months? Has anyone expanded beyond one topic or focus on a single channel? I'm not sure what the algorithm will make of it, but God is calling me to expand my content to include more of what I used to release: singing videos (I'm a songwriter). That really is my primary calling, strength, and joy. I haven't made any income yet, but I'm also not rushing that. I trust that if I just keep going, the methods suitable to me for earning an income will become clear. I'd love to offer artist coaching, maybe write a songwriting ebook, etc. Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, wisdom, and tips! I am so grateful for this community! Special thanks to @Mike Bayer and @George Benson who've helped and inspired me so much.

@George Benson wow George - thank you so much for sharing so vulnerably and with such clarity. I am always moved by how you express things so poignantly - it is one of your gifts! And through your message, I feel like I just got a big, comforting hug from God. So thanks for that blessing!! I'll pop into the DMs now to see your note. I pray you are healthier now and feeling on a more stable foundation.

@George Benson I'm so glad to hear it!!! Sending you prayers for health, prosperity, peace, and fulfillment!
How do you manage your content?
How do you organise content ideas, drafts and finished content? I’ve gone through Notion, Evernote, Google Docs and while they all have advantages, I’ve yet to find the perfect system. I’d love to know what you think.

Hey @Mike Garner, I have been using Scrivener for six months, and I absolutely love it. I believe it was originally developed for novelists - who need to organize all their chapters and research folders on one side of the screen, while the main working page is open for writing. On the right are all kinds of additional features (e.g. "post it notes" for cross-referencing ideas/topics/characters, relevant places to store media that you plan to use for a particular episode, etc.). It is so easy to use, and I love being able to see all my work at a glance!
Starting a membership question
Has anyone started a membership - apart from Alexa, of course? I'm really stalling on starting a membership, but I think it seems like the next step for trying to grow sustainable income and share my multiple products/trainings I've made. I've had a Facebook group before and found it really draining with very little interaction. Please would you share your experience as I'm wondering if I'm just looking at this the wrong way?
