My lens is closer to Vedic astronomy and consciousness: observing natural cycles as mirrors and markers—not as forces that remove our free will. Astronomically, the lunar cycle repeats approximately every 29.5 days. In the Vedic tradition, this particular full moon is Guru Purnima—a time for honoring the teachers, wisdom and guidance that illuminate our path. But the “guru” is not only outside of you. There is also an innate intelligence within you that has been communicating through intuition, discomfort, repeating patterns, meaningful ideas and the quiet inner knowing you may have been avoiding. The question is: Are you listening? SCIENCE MEETS CONSCIOUSNESS Research shows that meaningful time markers—a new week, a new month or a new year—can help us step outside our habitual identity, see the bigger picture and recommit to important goals. The Moon does not need to control your emotions for its cycle to be useful. A cycle can become a conscious checkpoint. Because our individual “ME” consciousness is always moving within the greater “WE” of collective consciousness. We can become aware of the larger wave and learn to surf it—or keep exhausting ourselves by trying to move as if no wave exists. This is not about surrendering your power to the external world.
