Heard that AI models access your hard drive (all your personal info etc) to get context to their work. If this is accurate do we need to work a separate laptop/desktop that does not have access to our entire hard drive?

@AI Advantage Team I don’t share any personal and sensitive information however, I didn’t want to confirm what I understood that AI tools do not access information on hard drives unless you shared links/docs/access. When I heard someone say otherwise, I wanted to confirm.

Tool: Wispr Flow Why This Tool: Wispr Flow is the only AI voice dictation tool that works inside every single app on your device (email, Slack, WhatsApp, ChatGPT, Instagram, anywhere you can type), automatically removes filler words and handles messy speech corrections in real-time ("5pm, no actually 6pm" becomes just "6pm"), and adapts tone and formatting based on context (formal for emails, casual for texts) so you write 4x faster than typing without editing afterward. Best For: Anyone who spends hours typing emails and messages each day, professionals with back-to-back meetings who need to respond quickly between calls, people with mobility challenges or conditions like Parkinson's or arthritis that make typing difficult, multilingual communicators working across languages, content creators drafting long-form material who want to skip the keyboard entirely Cost: Free plan (2,000 words per week), Flow Pro from $12-15 per month (unlimited words, Command Mode), Flow Enterprise $24 per user per month, Android version currently free and unlimited during early access, check wisprflow.ai for current rates Website: https://wisprflow.ai/ Quick Win Prompt: "Download Wispr Flow on your phone or computer and activate it in your most-used messaging app (Slack, email, WhatsApp). Press the hotkey (fn on desktop, tap the Flow bubble on mobile) and speak naturally like you're having a conversation, including all the 'ums,' false starts, and corrections you'd normally make. Watch as Flow instantly cleans up your speech, removes filler words, adds proper punctuation, and formats it perfectly based on the app you're in. Send that first message without editing a single word. You just wrote in seconds what would've taken minutes to type and proofread." Other Things Wispr Flow Can Do: - Command Mode for voice editing: Select any text and use voice commands like "make this more formal," "turn this into bullet points," "summarize this," or even "build me an app that..." (it'll open Replit and start coding based on your prompt), so you can edit and transform content without touching your keyboard - Personal dictionary with cross-device sync: Add custom names, technical terms, industry jargon, acronyms, or company-specific language once and Flow remembers them across all your devices (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android), ensuring perfect spelling every time you dictate - Whisper mode and context awareness: Dictate quietly in public spaces without disturbing anyone, while Flow intelligently adapts formatting and tone based on where you're typing (professional for Gmail, casual for iMessage, technical for coding in VS Code) - HIPAA-ready and SOC 2 Type II compliant: Trusted by 95% of Fortune 500 companies and used by Reid Hoffman, Marc Andreessen, and Steve Wozniak, with enterprise-grade security that makes it safe for handling sensitive information in healthcare, legal, and financial workflows

Love this app. It has been so handy in transcribing my voice notes without the need to be at a keyboard typing away.
New to the Group
I am a franchise business owner using AI to improve operations, strategic planning, create onboarding programs and prioritize my task list. I know there is so much more I can do with AI and that’s the reason I am here. The goal is to learn how to incorporate systems or AI agents to take away time consuming admin and other recurring tasks in my business to free up my time.
❓ The Question We See The Most About AI: “Where Do I Even Start?”
It is one of the most common questions in business right now. Not, “What is the best tool?” Not, “What prompt should I use?” Not even, “Will AI replace this role?” It is this: Where do I even start? That question matters because it reveals where a lot of people really are. Not resistant. Not lazy. Not behind on purpose. Just overwhelmed. There is so much noise, so many tools, so many opinions, and so much pressure to catch up fast that people freeze before they begin. And that is the real risk. Not starting. Because in this moment, the people who build an advantage with AI are not always the most technical. They are the ones who start simple, learn quickly, and turn small wins into repeatable ways of working. They do not wait until they understand everything. They begin where the friction already is. That is the answer more people need. Start where work feels unnecessarily slow. Start where time keeps leaking. Start with the task that repeats every week and drains more energy than it should. Writing a first draft. Summarizing notes. Planning the week. Organizing ideas. Responding to common messages. Turning scattered thoughts into something usable. AI becomes valuable fastest when it solves a problem that is already costing time. That is why the starting point is not the tool. It is the friction. This is where a lot of people get stuck. They think they need a perfect system before they begin. They think they need to master prompting, understand every platform, and know the full strategy upfront. They do not. The best place to start is with one use case, one workflow, one recurring task that can be made faster, clearer, or easier. That creates momentum. Because once someone sees AI help them save 20 minutes on a task they do every week, the conversation changes. It stops feeling abstract. It stops feeling intimidating. It becomes practical. From there, confidence grows. Then experimentation gets better. Then adoption becomes intentional. That is how real progress happens.
