Early Validation from In-Person Networking (Chamber Event Win)
Last night I attended a Chamber of Black Commerce networking event and wanted to share a quick win + reflection. I made 7 meaningful connections: • 4 collaboration opportunities • 3 speaking requests (including one through the Chamber and one through a Chamber-created nonprofit focused on financial literacy) One of the most interesting connections was a financial broker working across real estate, debt repair, insurance, and funding — which feels like a strong bundle trigger + authority partner opportunity. I also collected 3 direct leads, and one has already signed up for my upcoming webinar on how to get a portion of your paycheck back within 60 minutes. What stood out most was how consistently the conversations came back to financial stress, overwhelm, and wanting practical solutions that don’t feel heavy — which felt like real-time validation that the positioning is landing, especially in in-person rooms. Grateful for the guidance that helped me show up confidently and clearly. Looking forward to tightening the follow-up and turning this into something repeatable.
