Most people think "following up" is a necessary evil. You sit at your keyboard, hover over the send button, and feel that shallow breathing because you don't want to be that person. You assume silence is rejection. It’s not. Silence is context. Your prospects are living in a state of "continuous partial attention". They read your email in a coffee line, got called by a toddler, or hit a board prep cycle, and your message vanished. Patience is a virtue
Team, I am so excited to announce that after 2 weeks of The Advocate Ally portal being live, I have my first subscriber!!! 😆Being in a service-based business requires a lot more run around and assertiveness. We can't get offended by the "nos." Just qualify the "nos" to see if it means "not now" or "never" to see if you need to circle around later. Then move on and look for the "yesses." A helpful strategy that I used was creating FOMO (fear of missing out). For everyone that I personally contacted, I'm following up this week to let them know that the introductory offer is expiring soon but they will be able to keep that rate if they lock in now. While the Advocate Ally is an excellent tool for parents to use, the many parents will only consider it reactively...when the diagnosis makes it real because ignorance is bliss, when they're in the heat of the battle with their child's school...when it becomes too much and they're forced to play defense instead of staying on offense. I will continue to "beat the pavement" to look for the yesses. Creating the product is not the end of the journey, it's just the beginning. Thanks for the FOMO strategy, Coach! Keep'em coming.
