Can’t just let things go
I get really aggrieved about things which seem like cheating and get told off by my wife for going on and on and on etc about it. A while ago I saw some furniture advertised for sale locally, and a few days later available for free collection. The following day, it turned up dumped on some waste land under a railway bridge near us. I called the local council, the police, everyone with any form of responsibility in our village, hassled the guy in charge of fly-tipping and tried to find out who owned the land. Nobody would do anything about it - it fell between responsibilities, but eventually some enterprising teenagers crawled in and collected it all for their den. Similarly, in my running club the guy who was organising the points league, with a big trophy available for the winner seemed to be cheating. I was really upset, told everyone I knew, fell out with the club and left in a huff. Now, someone is going too fast on his bicycle and stealing all my records for eg the route from my village to the next one. I know for a fact that it really isn’t important - in the proper competitions I’m fairly quick for a 60 something, but not like a proper athlete. Nevertheless, I think he’s cheating at least some of the time (there is some evidence), and I won’t let it go. When I was on holiday years ago, I set a record on the bicycle for the climb up the mountain, before the island had been discovered by anyone with a proper bicycle. Later that day, I got a notification that someone had stolen my virtual trophy and despite the fact that the guys ride was literally titled “riding around on a quad bike”, I had to get changed and try to steal the crown back. I don’t know if I can blame this on ADHD, or just being too fragile and too competitive?

@Sarah Kristensen I feel this, I think consistency is my problem because I get my schedule figured out and then 15 other things get in the way
