Five questions to ask a client before building their voice agent
A voice agent built without a clear brief usually needs rebuilding. Five questions save the rework: what's the one outcome of the call, what are the top three questions callers ask, who takes over when it can't answer, what hours does it cover, and where do the call notes go afterwards. In GoHighLevel that last answer is usually a contact note and a tag. Which of the five do clients struggle to answer?

That last one, where the call notes go afterwards, is such a practical thing to settle before building anything. A clear brief up front really does save the rework later. 👍
93% of my Grokbot tokens went to re-reading
I run about 60 Grok Bots and my weekly limit ran out in 2.7 days so I exported one week of usage 4.6 billion tokens and 93% of it was the bots re-reading their own old chats Two things that helped me 1. When a chat gets long give the bot a one page handoff file and start a fresh copy from it. On one bot this cut tokens per step by 35 to 50% 2. Check your timers. Mine ran 45 times and only 2 runs found any work Full breakdown here if useful https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-O_N6V7WNKU How are you all handling memory on long running agents, fresh chats, files or something else

The handoff file trick is a good one. I do something similar with Claude: when a chat gets long I ask it for a one page summary of the decisions made and the open tasks, then start a fresh chat from that. Seeing 93% go to re-reading is eye opening, thanks for sharing the numbers 🙌

Why every AI agent needs a human escape hatch
Even the best AI agent will meet a situation it can't handle. The question is what happens next. A good setup gives the person an easy way out: a quick "want me to get someone to call you?" and an instant alert to a human. In GoHighLevel that's a tag plus a notification, nothing complicated. Without that escape hatch, one bad conversation can undo a hundred good ones. What's your agent's escape hatch?

A quick way out to a real person is such a good safety net, Liton. One bad conversation really can undo a lot of good ones, so a simple tag plus an instant alert sounds like a tidy way to protect the trust you have built 🙌

Hey everyone, Taj here from Australia 👋 I run a small fitness software business (Totality) built with Claude, and I also run a free Claude and business community. Here to learn from builders who are further along with agents and automation. Keen to connect!

@Dave Expert Thanks Dave, doing well! I'm fairly new here and mostly learning how people use agents and automation in real businesses. I've been picking up a lot from the resource hub already.
