What is GTM Engineering?
Hey everyone, I’ve put together a beginner-friendly video explaining what GTM Engineering actually is and how to think about it from scratch. I’m sharing this here as a resource for anyone who’s just getting started or still trying to connect the dots. When I first came across this space, it wasn’t very clear what people actually did or how everything fit together, so this is my attempt to simplify that. In the video, I cover: - What GTM really means - Why most setups are broken - What a GTM Engineer actually does - How systems replace manual work I’ve attached the video below so you can watch it directly. If anything is unclear or you want me to go deeper on a specific part, just drop a comment.

Thanks for sharing! We can build a complete system within Clay or do we need other tools helps as well? May be for the next videos keep mic close or change as for me voice was quite low, not sure if it's same for others as well. Can you please share this doc?
GTM vs Lead Gen
Please don't Google or search elsewhere, I want to hear your genuine thoughts and understanding on GTM I am struggling to understand the difference between Lead Gen and GTME. For example, the stack I have used for Lead Gen has been Sales Nav, Instantly, Prosp. ai (similar to HeyReach) for LinkedIn outreach. The stack is more or less the same, except for addition of Clay and automating the stack using n8n / zapier / make.com. My question is: if the same stack is used for Lead Gen, what difference does GTME makes? Would love to hear unsearched thoughts 🙃

Have you checked this doc shared by Javeria? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QWMPreuN3ww9Q5G0inCdyISwBzGW7kUutju2R8_ZOTc/edit?tab=t.0 I think tools can be similar for both but I remember Javaria or someone saying in our first call that under GTME now there are multiple roles for each task and GTME is more about building architecture and processes which helps in scaling with lean team and avoiding large headcount.
First session feedback
Would love your feedback: - What did you find most useful? - What would you want to see more of in future sessions? - Anything I should do differently? Drop your thoughts below — this helps me make the next ones even better 👇

@Javeria Shah amazing session, just a suggestion to discuss or take questions in a Q&A maybe after covering any specific point or topic, other than that it was a great kickstart and quite interested!
Introduce Yourself
I’d love to get to know you! Drop a comment and share: - Your name and where you’re based - What’s your background? (sales, marketing, engineering, ops, something else?) - What’s your level of understanding of GTM Engineering? (complete beginner, know the basics, already building) - What’s your goal? (break into GTM, level up skills, build for clients, something else?)
