Years ago, Israel offered to help Iran fix their ongoing water problem. We were refused. The same happened with California!

@Joseph Dabby - As it happens, Israel offers to help LOTS of countries, including those who are not "friendly" with Israel and some who openly hate us. By the way, Turkey's current government hates us, but when earthquakes strike, membefrs of the Home Front Command are there, usually first, to search for survivors and help as many as possible. When the Tsunami hit Sri Lanka, the head of our our Home Front Command contacted the government there and offered help. They were actually grateful for the offer but said that the local people would be upset and frightened if the Israelis arrived in military dress. So... all those getting ready to go put on "street clothes" and left their uniforms behind. It's not usual, since our "Home Front Command" (part of the IDF) usually wears Israeli military uniforms, but we wanted to help, that was the requirement, so... no problem. They were grateful.
Disinformation Wars and the Real Voices of Iran
My article just got published. The leftist newspaper Haaretz recently claimed that Iranian support for Prince Reza Pahlavi is fake. They want you to believe it is all Israeli bots and AI. They are lying. I have received hundreds of videos from inside Iran where people are filming themselves just to prove they exist. This piece presents the raw evidence that debunks their narrative and shows how easily the media spreads regime propaganda. @J T - just one of many reasons I am against AI altogether! I refuse to use it, even learn it! Some people say I am, therefore, crazy and "behind the times", but I'd rather be that than part of the fake information that circulates via AI throughout the Internet!

A local Israeli friends calls that "rag" "hahahaAretz". It wants to be the "New York Times" of Israel, which it is, because "Pravda-On-The-Hudson" is the same or worse! They both lie and produce ONLY what "they" want people to think, NOT the truth!

I started watching earlier and then got distracted... But I still have it up on my computer. I'm finally going for some shut-eye now (after all, it IS almost 6:30AM here in beautiful Jerusalem, Israel and I've been up all night... again). I'll get back to the discussion in a few hours; I hope it will still be available. By the way, I think this is a GREAT GROUP - just getting to know a few people, but already, instead of the ugliness I usually encounter, it's so nice to have reasonable conversations instead! So, thanks for creating this group...
Come visit Israel... Come be with friends!
Shalom from Jerusalem, Israel! Truthfully, I really don't like to discuss "politics" but I suppose that's because I have encountered so much hatred over the past years with many people simply having no clue of the history of Israel in general or the Jews in particular. BUT - this group sounds interesting, so I'll try to keep up and hope you all don't mind if sometimes, my OPINION doesn't meet your general ideas! In other words... I'll listen to you and hope that you'll listen to me, and we won't put the wrong words in each others' mouths... Meanwhile, come on over to the amazing, historical, Biblical Land of Israel, where, if you are interested, you can see the Bible come alive or just enjoy all the wonderful things you can see and do here. Oh, and, don't listen to the naysayers... it really is SAFE here or I wouldn't live here as long as I have so far.

@Francesco Dell'Anna - Perhaps you and I could work together to create such an event, maybe twice a year. Ahead of the proposed time period, I just need two or (better) three months, a list of those interested in joining, and some idea of the general interests in what the participants prefer to see & do in order to put together the accommodations and the general plan. I would not only arrange the touring aspect but also special speakers and other "meet-ups" during the event time.

@Francesco Dell'Anna - I'm not sure about the "DM", but I clicked on the "Chat" block and got an error message that it was not possible until Level 5 neither of us is there yet! That might take a while, so instead, send me an email to [email protected] as a start. If you have an idea of WHEN, how many days and how many people you think might be interested, and what YOU have in mind generally, that would go a long way to getting me started on the tourism part and thinking about local people to invite as speakers, etc.
