✨ Icon of the Training Industry - Grateful, Driven, and Just Getting Started
Boom! Last weekend I was awarded the Icon of the Training Industry Award from Andy Harrington’s Professional Speaker Academy. What a great night! Coming from council estates to moments like this… it reminds me that it doesn’t matter where you start. If you’re hungry, committed and willing to back yourself, you can create something great. I want to say a massive thank you to my wife, my kids, my friends and my mentors. Your support, your love, your belief, that’s what’s kept me going through the highs and lows. Running one of the UK’s leading property, business and wealth training companies is something I’m incredibly proud of, and this award pushes me even more to give everything I’ve got to the people I serve. And if you’re reading this… don’t ever doubt what’s possible for you. With the right mindset, and the right mentorship, everything can change🔥🙏✨

🚨 Property News Update 🚨
Just came across this BBC piece that really caught my attention… A major developer, Persimmon Homes, is asking to cut back the number of affordable homes on a large housing estate near Norwich. Originally, the plan was to build 1,000 homes with a third being affordable. But now, due to “rising costs” and “site issues,” they’re only building around 780, and want to slash the affordable units from 185 down to just 30. The local parish council is pushing back, saying this makes it even harder for residents to get on the property ladder and that there’s been “no engagement” from the developer. This really highlights the tension between profitability vs. community impact, doesn’t it? On one hand, developers are struggling with rising costs… but on the other, families are finding it harder than ever to buy their first home. What do you think should councils hold developers accountable for delivering affordable homes, even if the numbers “don’t stack up”? Or should developers be given flexibility to make their projects viable? Drop your thoughts below 👇 https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c33rx8npzj8o

@Liam J Ryan - great topic to contribute to. All housing builders should have a quota as a % of their overall developments. I worked 10 years for a large housing association in the South West. They are set to build around 5,000 affordable homes over the next five years as part of a £1billion investment into the South West economy. In the last financial year, they delivered 951 affordable homes, £152million investment. You can see this involves huge sums of money and long term strategic commitment and I know that maintaining Moody's ratings to access bonds and investment is a challenge. There needs to be clear direction from the current Housing Minister to resolve the ongoing decline in affordable housing. Sadly the latest statutory homelessness statistics for April–June 2025 in England show record levels of households in temporary accommodation (TA). In total, 132,410 households, including 172,420 children, were living in TA and waiting for a stable, affordable place to call home. This represents a 7.6 per cent increase on the same period in the year before and a 1.2 per cent increase on the previous quarter. This impacts hugely on our local authorities, economy and support services.
💥 Success Is a Choice, Not Luck 💥
Most people think success “just happens” to others. They look at successful investors, entrepreneurs, and business owners and say things like: “They were lucky.” “They had connections.” “They started at the right time.” Let me tell you something straight… that’s complete nonsense. Success has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with choice. It’s about deciding to take action when others make excuses. It’s about showing up when no one’s watching. It’s about saying “yes” to opportunities even when you don’t feel ready. I wasn’t “lucky” when I built my first multi-million-pound portfolio. I was broke, scared, and had no clue what I was doing… But I made a decision... to go all in, learn the game, and never quit. 👉 Action creates confidence. 👉 Confidence creates results. 👉 Results create momentum. So, here’s my challenge to you this week: What’s ONE action you’re taking to move closer to your goals? It doesn’t have to be huge.. maybe it’s booking that viewing, making that investor call, or showing up to the next webinar. Drop it in the comments 👇

After the Academy Day with Shaun Bartle I have been using 'The Power of One More', it has really helped to improve my focus and output. I followed this up with doing AI training so I can really automate actions and can then concentrate on the things that will build my success! As you say no luck required, just determination and mindset! 🏘️💯🌟
Accountability Creates Results 💥
If you want to move forward, you’ve got to hold yourself accountable. Success doesn’t come from big leaps once in a while, it comes from small, consistent actions stacked up every single day. So, here’s the challenge: Before the end of this week, what’s ONE task you’re going to commit to finishing? It doesn’t matter if it’s a big goal or something as simple as making that phone call, sending that email, or spending 30 mins learning a new skill. What matters is that you commit and you get it done. 👉 Drop your task in the comments below.Let’s keep each other accountable and make progress together. Remember: Success loves speed, and action beats procrastination every time.
