How to Remove Glue From Wood Without Damaging the Wood
One of the biggest problems with doing edge-glued panels is glue cleanup. Some people wipe the wet glue off with a damp rag. That works, but can push the glue into the wood's pores, causing finishing problems. Others wait until the glue dries and scrape it off. That's usually harder to do; but eliminates the finishing problem. I've come up with a better way to remove that dried-on glue. Check out this video to see my new Ergonomic Glue Remover tool. You can find this tool on our website at: https://www.sawinery.net/products/ergonomic-glue-remover?utm_source=skool

Weekend Win
My wife likes to check out the local estate sales listings online. While most of what she's looking for is things that she wants, she also keeps her eyes open for tools. I am fortunate to have a wife that encourages me to buy tools. She found me this, for $125. I've needed to up my dust collection game for quite a while, and this one is small enough that I was able to find a place to put it. The best time to go to any estate sale is the last few hours. They might have already sold the items you want; but then, if they haven't. they'll sell them to you for half price. In this case, I got it for less, because I bought some wood too.

Big congrats to @Philip Jaster winner of our “Biggest Shop Pet Peeve” challenge! 👏 Philip takes home a $100 Sawinery Gift Card (more tools for the shop, guilt-free 😉). Thanks to everyone who shared your shop annoyances — lost pencils, tight shop space, and even power outages mid-project had us all nodding along. 👉 The next challenge is just around the corner. Stay tuned, another $100 gift card will be up for grabs soon! 🛠️

My biggest Shop pet peeve is when all the Neighbors come around and want to borrow tools but then never return them
Master of none
Very self taught. I do it wrong. My style is best described as sloppy. Grew up making things as I needed or wanted. Stopped more than a decade ago by giving a nephew my tools. Now, I’m getting back into woodcraft. Plan to make a modular workbench for my small garage soon-to-be workshop.
