🌙 December Challenge — Day 13
Slow moments are your superpower, make sure to enjoy them. The holiday season can feel fast, loud, and chaotic… but today, focus on the quiet spaces. The slow parts of your day. The moments where you can breathe, reset, and actually feel in control. That’s where your healthiest choices are made. Enjoying a slower pace helps you: • eat more mindfully • avoid stress-triggered snacking • stay aware of your hunger • regulate your emotions • choose food with intention • move your body because it feels good, not rushed • stay connected to the version of you you're building Let the slow moments guide you today. Drop your: 📸 Meal photo 👣 Steps 📝 Reflection: What’s one slow, intentional habit you practiced today that helped you stay grounded?

🔎 December Challenge — Day 12
Holiday stress doesn’t get to choose your actions...you do. A lot came up yesterday: • Stress from watching your favorite team • Irritation from day-to-day life • Feeling “off” because you’re injured and can’t train normally • Family triggers • Relationship stress • Worry about slipping into old patterns • Food + alcohol as the quickest way to self-soothe All of this is normal, and none of it means you’re doomed. Here’s today’s reminder: Stress creates urges. Awareness creates control. You can’t stop the feelings from showing up, but you can decide what you do next. When a trigger hits, pause and ask: 👉 “Is this hunger, or is this stress talking?” That one question breaks the automatic reaction. You’ve built too many tools, too many wins, and too much awareness to let a moment of emotion undo your momentum. Stay steady. Slow down. Choose, don’t react. Drop your: 📸 Meal/snack photo 👣 Steps 📝 Reflection: What is something you are looking forward to enjoying doing over the weekend?

💭 December Challenge — Day 11
Today’s reminder: Emotional eating loses its power when you notice it early. Before grabbing food, pause for a moment and ask: 👉 “What am I actually feeling right now?” If it’s hunger... eat. If it’s emotion... breathe, pause, move, or redirect. You’ve built real awareness these past few months. Use that skill now, when it matters most. Your emotions don’t get to drive the car, you do. Drop your: 📸 Meal/snack photo 👣 Step count (8K weekday floor) 📝 Reflection: What emotion tends to push you toward eating this time of year, and what’s one thing you’ll do today instead of reacting to it automatically?

Steps just missed...some of the pain and tightness started to creep back so pivoted to to more stretch and resistance band work Did have some Pad See Ew with combo protien...ate all the protien and greens left a bunch of the noodles Usually anxiety leads to eating..today when that happens...drink water and count down from 10
🎄 December Challenge — Day 10
Remember: Holiday chaos doesn't control you, your habits do. As the holidays ramp up, the schedules get messy, routines get interrupted, and food is everywhere. But this is where your simple, steady habits matter the most. You don’t need to avoid everything. You don’t need to “start over in January.” You just need to stay grounded in the basics you’ve already built: Protein. Fiber. Hydration. Movement. Awareness. Intention. When the environment gets louder, your habits become your anchor. The holidays don’t knock you off track, drifting into autopilot does. Stay steady. Stay present. You’re in control of how you show up. Drop your: 📸 Meal photo 👣 Step count (8K weekday floor) 📝 Reflection: What’s one simple habit you’re leaning on this week to stay steady as the holiday chaos picks up?

Back at it after spending the better part of the last 2 and a half weeks give or take not able to do much due to a tightness in the periformis which pinched a nerve making it painful to stand, sit, or walk for any length of time. Today felt well enough to do stretches and get walk in before breakfast... sitting at 11k steps... Made some mussels for dinner with side salad Just working on getting back into a groove...do stretches and recovery. BTW if you are a Costco member.. they have compression recovery boots for $129..
🔥 Monday Day 22 — Choose Your Week With Intention (Not Fear)
It’s a new week, and Thanksgiving is around the corner. Which means a lot of people are already stressing about food, guilt, and “losing their progress.” But that fear-based mindset? It only makes the holiday harder. You don’t need to "earn" Thanksgiving. You don’t need to “deserve” your favorite foods. And you definitely don’t need to beat yourself up afterward. This week is about intention, not fear. About deciding how you want to show up and not reacting to old patterns. Instead of:❌ “What if I overeat?” Try:✅ “What do I want my day to feel like?” Instead of:❌ “I don’t want to ruin my progress.” Try:✅ “How do I want to support myself before and after the big meal?” Instead of:❌ “I hope I don’t slip.” Try:✅ “Here’s how I’m choosing to show up.” You’ve built real habits these past two challenges. You’ve lost weight, created awareness, improved routines, and learned how to stay grounded.Thanksgiving is not something to fear. It’s LITERALLY just another day where you get to choose in alignment with the person you’re becoming. You’re not here to survive the holidays. You’re here to navigate them with awareness, balance, and confidence. Drop your: 📸 Meal photo (something chosen with intention) 👣 Step count (8K weekday floor) 📝 Reflection: What intention do you want to set for yourself heading into Thanksgiving — and how do you want to feel ABOUT your choices afterward?
