Weekend plans? Any doing any BBQ?
I know people are from all over the world and everyone has different weekend things to do, but many of them involve food, or gatherings with food. Here in the states, especially now that temps are getting warmer, the BBQs tend to start ramping up. Here in sunny Los Angeles we can pretty much BBQ year round...golf and go to the beach too. So I am wondering if anyone other parts of the world, etc. have food cultural things that happen seasonally and if you are taking part in any of them this weekend. Next weekend we have Memorial Day and that is usually an excuse to BBQ something large, or at least lots of things.

4 New Amazing Masterclasses on the Calendar That You Won't Want to Miss!
Have you checked out the calendar lately??? You'll definitely want to because not only are these 4 amazing new sessions listed there, but there are others that are coming up soon that you won't want to miss! On May 27, I'm teaching "Now What?" - a session dedicated to helping you create an intentional and strategic classroom for your Skool community. As an award-winning educator with a Skool community devoted entirely to teaching people how to create high-impact online courses, I can't wait to dive into this topic and help you decide the best way to get real results for your members. I expect this will be the last time I offer this session for free... On May 28, @Katya McEwen is teaching "How I Made $8,580 in Six Weeks" - I built a Top 1% Skool community — twice — using one repeatable method: Mini-Project Magic™. In this session, I'll walk you through the real numbers, the real timeline, and the exact framework behind my most successful launches. In this hands-on workshop, you'll gain clarity on what could be your own mini-project — and exactly how to monetize it On May 30, @Lydia Lowery Busler is teaching "Calm Your Nervous System in 2 Minutes" - Every day, our nervous system tries to regulate itself. Restlessness, distraction, and anxiety are all symptoms of nervous system dysregulation. If you don't feel calm, focused, and rested each day, this short masterclass is for you. By the end of this session, you'll be able to bring yourself to a relaxed state in just 2 minutes. On June 16, @Traci Poe and @Liisa Reimann are teaming up to co-host "Step Up to the Mic: Find + Land Speaking Gigs" - Speaking gigs help you get seen, build trust, and attract opportunities. Learn how to get visibility, pitch yourself with confidence, create a speaker one-sheet that opens doors, find the right stages, and show up with authority. Please check the calendar for the exact times in your timezone, and click Add to Calendar so that you don't accidentally double-book yourself!

Real Food for Real Schedules: The Single Parent’s Guide to Weeknight Peace
Singles Parents! When you think ahead to the week on Sunday night, or Monday morning, do you often wonder how you are going to get through it and when are you going to squeeze in time to make dinner for your kids, or just yourself? Everyone has a busy schedule and even if you have 1 or 9 kids, there just isn't enough time to even think about it? You start to panic and just creative a narrative that you'll make it happen this week…magically it's just going to happen. Then the time comes and you're hitting a drive-thru or calling for delivery or making the last bit of chicken nuggets from the freezer. Well, the truth is, we don't have the time to cook dinner on the weekdays. But we have time to assemble dinner. This bare and simple truth is we need to have a plan ahead of time. This is not a menu plan, or a cooking schedule, and certainly not pre-made meals. It is as simple as finding when we have 2 blocks of 20-30 minutes in our schedule. Meal prep is mental prep! Just 20 minutes any day before the day you're eating, and 20 minutes to put it together and you will have fresh and healthier dinner on the table that everyone eats together. Real food for real schedules. Discover where your comfort zone is too and put an end to the weeknight dinner anxiety.

@Darlene G that's awesome. Any busy schedule can benefit. Even non-busy schedules that just don't know how to cook can benefit from discovering their comfort zone and growing it to be smarter about what they eat. I discovered mine when I became a single parent therein lies my niche.
What the heck's dragon boat racing?
Only the coolest sport I never knew existed until I turned the ripe old age of 37. Tried it on a lark, and instantly fell in love with it. The fun, the rush, the searing pain as you think you can't last a second longer—all of it. 6 years later, my team of 40-somethings won the world championships. 🏆 The next I year I made Team USA and brought gold home again 🥇. Two years after that, I coached Team USA and brought home 8 silver medals🥈. To this day I can't believe I did that. The most I'd done before that... was ride my bike and hike up a few hills 🤣 Usually, I talk about funnels, and the million ways they can leak without us knowing it. But today, as I'm getting ready to head to the boat yard to do a bit of prep for the start of racing season, I wanted to share something else. Because none of us are just one thing. We're human - we're DEEEEEEP. 🤪 This weird sport has changed my life. Grounded me during a nasty divorce and custody battle. Exhausted my mind so that my body could sleep at night. Took me across borders, grew my family, even gave me a second stream of income! I now run a club in my home state of Vermont, co-created a certification program for our national dragon boat federation, and launched a Dragon Boat Skool to share all the things I've learned over the past 20 years with the world. If you're a dragon boater (or want to be) come join us! If you know someone who is, please share this with them! We're the ONLY dragon boat community on this platform (for now) and I want ALL the dragon boaters of the world in it 🤣 If you've never heard of this sport, what questions do you have? If you've ever wanted to try it and haven't yet, what's stopping you?

F*ing amazing!!!
Please Introduce Yourself
One of the most important things I've learned since becoming an online entrepreneur is that the most important thing you can do to grow your business is to build relationships. Many of us (myself included) have rushed to promote our groups and services that we care so deeply about. And it only makes sense - we are excited about what we are doing! Today, I'd like to invite you to take a step back and introduce yourself to the group by answering the following questions: 1. Who are you personally? 2. Who are you professionally? 3. What is something you love doing outside of work? 4. What is something surprising about you? As you open up and make more connections, you will find that not only are people more interested in what you do, but they will also be more interested in helping you make connections with other people they know! 😉 After you introduce yourself, please scroll through the other introductions and add a comment to someone you have something in common with or would like to know more about. 😊 Please add your introduction in the comments below! ⬇️
