I’m CONCERNED
Pokemon today is in a very interesting place and something about it feels off. ChristyHolds just made a video basically stating some modern product is outpacing vintage. She gave the example of the first Gengar vs the latest, which is valued higher. What we know about Pokemon investing still holds true, sealed is king. But it looks like some new rules are at play. Are SIRs & IRs taking the place of vintage holos and reverse holos? Will cards like the Love Birds, Evolving Skies Moonbreon, and others be the new golden era? Most importantly, will these new rules effect sealed products? The more you see things out of the norm and say to yourself, “wow that’s crazy” & “this doesn’t normally happen”. Start paying closer attention. Pay attention to big content creators, big secondary market vendors, the Pokemon Company itself. They want Pokemon to continue to be profitable and increase the size of the market. In that same breath, greed is a natural human trait. Watch out for pump and dumps, inflation, I see some obstacles coming soon. That’s why this group is so important. If you see something say something. We all are here to gain generational wealth and build a cardboard empire. I want to see you guys win and hope you want the same for everyone else.

@Ashley Fildes as in sealed product rises in price and falls in supply? Or falls in supply and price? lol
What % return?
When you are vending or flipping products what % return do you sell at? My feed is full of vendors but never do I see what % are they netting and I’m curious to know what others are doing to be successful. How does one navigate a fast moving market too
What opportunities for 5x? Is that realistic?
What will you buy if you want to 5x and in what time span do you think that can happen?
Tackling the RIGHT issue, can Fix Everything
Most people try to improve everything at once. But the biggest life changes usually come from one thing with outsized returns. A leverage point. Some problems are root problems — solve them and ten other problems disappear. For one person it’s getting in shape. For another it’s fixing their finances. For someone else it’s learning a high-value skill or changing their environment. From an Oldie in Cardboard Empire - I shared why our Card show was so successful. Because we tackled a ROOT issue. What’s the one issue in your life that, if solved, would make everything else easier? Find that. Comment below what you think a ROOT issue in your life or Business is, and if solved what would happen?

My problem is knowing when to sell. Stocks. Crypto. Pokey.
What has been your biggest L?
Everyone posts their wins but not their losses Or lessons if you wanna reframe it 😌 Be honest! And what did you learn from it?

My biggest L has been abandoning pokemo all together in 2019. I sold a lot of gold stars, play promos, Mario, Luigi’s, team skull pika, etc and knowing the prices now is painful but opportunities missed hurt more than the “losses” we take, because as Lo my as you keep buying you don’t rlly missed out I guess
