Rebuilding confidence after failure
Rebuilding confidence after failure is something I’ve had to do more times than I can count. There were moments I questioned everything — businesses that didn’t work, ideas that failed, launches that nobody noticed, financial stress, burnout, rejection, and times I genuinely wondered if I should just give up altogether. At times I felt like I was on a repeat wash! I couldn't get ahead. What people often don’t see behind entrepreneurship or building a portfolio life is how many times you have to quietly pick yourself back up and start again. I’ve had to dig deep emotionally, mentally, and financially more times than I ever expected. There were seasons where my confidence disappeared completely and I had to rebuild it slowly — one small action, one new idea, one brave decision at a time. But I’ve learned something important: Confidence doesn’t come from always succeeding and winning! It comes from surviving the moments you thought would break you of which I has many… and continuing anyway. Every setback taught me resilience. Every failure taught me wisdom. Every restart made me stronger. And honestly, some of my best opportunities came after the hardest seasons of my life because failure forced me to grow, adapt, and become more resourceful. So if you’re in a season where you feel behind, discouraged, or like things aren’t working out yet — keep going. It took me a while to realize that I wasn't starting from nothing but was starting from experience. And that experience will become your strength . This photo was taken almost 13 years ago and I had no idea of what I was doing or where I was at, but I always had a hope and a vision that was just locked away inside me. Have you ever had to completely rebuild your confidence after a difficult season in life or business? I’d love to hear your stories of rebuilding?
