Ingwaz represents the womb. The place where creation grows. It speaks of the importance of nurturing & protecting your long term goals & projects. I always say never share your dreams with someone who doesn't share your dreams. This rune is a reminder that there needs to be a boundary around your projects as they grow. Before they are ready to be born babies live in their mother's womb being nurtured only by her. She chooses what they absorb by proximity. I read to my children before they were born. All became avid readers. Science tells us an unborn child is affected by sound, comforted by its mother's voice, startled by loud noises. It is affected by emotions especially that of its mother. Your projects are your unborn children. This rune reminds you that you need to nuture and protect them. That doesn’t mean hide away and keep them secret. It means feed them the right nutrients be it courses or coaches. It means hold them dear to your heart. Share them only with those thst will support you in nurturing them and delight in the idea of witnessing their birth and their growth. I heard this story in group meditation a few months back. With all of the solar flares and the shifts in energy this week, I feel it is worth sharing with all of you again. The painting is a gift from my friend Erica. The lobster's growth story is one of repeated discomfort and shedding. Lobsters, despite being soft and mushy, live inside a hard, rigid shell that doesn't expand. As the lobster grows, the shell becomes too small, causing discomfort and pressure. To grow, the lobster seeks shelter, typically under rocks, to protect itself from predators while it molts, or sheds, its old shell. A new, soft shell is then produced underneath. This process repeats throughout the lobster's life. We are all lobsters.

I've never been someone who resonated with numbers, but the other day this random 5 showed up on my finger, under my grandmother's ring. My grandmother's death was my "trigger" to the beginning of my spiritual journey beginning with years of extreme dissociation. After almost 5 years, I know this is her way of telling me it's time to make peace with it.
