Specifically about UVI Meteor and Risers
Hi :-) Just because it's real cheap right now: Anyone using Meteor from UVI? I have good 53 years old Rise & Hit as everyone. Just got Oblivion but I have checked mostly pulses and bass in it. In a nice community of active and prolific sync music composers the overall agreement is "I already have mine ready, use them often, I don't waste time messing with that anymore" But here we have skilled and prolific Alex who continues to use Phoenix. So: Would it be worthy giving a try to Meteor at cheap 39 usd? promotion has 20 hours left, just throiwing this here in case anyone is wandering around. Cheers

I also notice there is just so many similar plugins that can be overwhelming. _ Rise and Hit Native Instruments is another good one.
Black Friday: Audio Imperia, Orchestral Tools, and Native Instruments
Audio Imperia and Orchestral Tool started their Black Friday sale! Native Instruments as well (but only upgrade bundles for now). Anyone buying anything?

Okay so... Monday might be a problem for your wallet
Real talk for a second. I've been putting together this Black Box campaign for the past few weeks with some sample library developers and other partners. And honestly? The deals we locked in are kind of ridiculous. Like... the kind of numbers that made me double-check if they meant what they wrote. First box opens Monday. Winners get drawn. Deals drop that literally won't exist anywhere else. Then it happens again next week. And the week after. Until the beginning of December. Here's the thing though: If you're not in the campaign yet, you miss the first reveal entirely. And trust me, you don't want to miss what's in Box #1. Takes 30 seconds to enter: https://growbaze.com/black-box-2025 One entry = all four weeks of surprises. I'm not going to sit here and hype it up with typical marketing BS. Just know that I've never done Black Friday deals like this before. I will probably go broke! And I've been doing this for a while. Box #1 drops Monday morning. You've been warned. — Alex P.S. — Got composer friends who'd hate themselves for missing this? Feel free to share the link.

🎯 The Invisible Barrier That Stops Most Composers From Growing
Most composers don’t struggle because they’re not good enough. They struggle because they lose track of conversations, forget to follow up, or never build a real system around their creative career. We’ve all been there — spending hours on writing, mixing, or polishing tracks, and then realizing we never actually sent them anywhere.Or we send one email and hope it leads somewhere... but never follow up. Here’s something I’ve learned over the years:If you want your music career to grow, you need as much structure in your outreach as you have in your composing. A few simple tips that can make a massive difference: - Create a contact list. Even a simple spreadsheet with who you talked to, when, and what about is a game-changer. - Set follow-up reminders. Most deals and collaborations happen after the second or third message. - Systemize your outreach. Write short, repeatable message templates that you can personalize fast. - Track your opportunities. Know which companies you’ve reached out to, which ones replied, and which ones you want to contact next month. - Keep it human. Don’t turn into a marketer — just be consistent, professional, and helpful. The truth is, once you start treating your composing like a business, things shift dramatically. You suddenly know who to contact, what to send, and when to follow up — without burning out or losing your creative flow. That’s actually one of the reasons I’ve been working on tools that make this whole process easier, so composers can focus on what they do best: writing great music. But for now — I’d love to hear from you:👉 What’s the part of the “business side” that frustrates you most? Emails? Organization? Finding new clients? Let’s talk about it below — maybe I can share a few practical ways to make it easier.

I’ll echo all of the above but I also am taking time to really build my product, my compositing skills - it is only up from here - lol
Artists goings business: One tool & service. All covered. Worth it?
Some of you here aren’t just making music — you’re also starting to treat your career more like a business. Maybe you’re teaching, selling courses, offering coaching, or simply looking for better ways to promote your music. Usually, that means juggling way too many things: - Emails & newsletters - Social media content scheduling - Websites, demo reels or landing pages - AI chat bots trained on your content - Client pipeline - Scheduling calls or lessons - Taking payments - Managing contacts, fans, or students - Hosting courses or memberships - Automating almost anything available in the system It’s messy. It’s time-consuming. And honestly, it pulls you away from what you actually want to do: making music. 👉 Now imagine if there was one single tool that handled all of this. Even better: imagine if you could choose between setting it up yourself or having it done for you with personal support. That’s what I want to ask you today: 1. Would you actually find something like this useful? 2. Would you be willing to pay for it — and if yes, how much (monthly/yearly) for the system? 3. What if there is also a "done for you" service available. I’d love to hear your honest thoughts — drop them in the comments 👇

I love the CharGPT subscription- it does everything from creating my resources and writing weekly blog posts for my website - or course I revise and check if all is accurate as one picture generated had the conductor behind the orchestra- lol AI was still learning at that time- lol
