Favourite Piano VSTs?
Hi Everyone and Happy New Year! Just wondering what some of your favourite realistic-sounding Piano VSTs are? My go-to in trailer tracks is the Felt Piano from Spitfire's Olafur Arnalds Toolkit, but I need something a little less soft for a project I'm working on. I've been using Addictive Keys from XLN Audio for years in personal projects, but I'm not sure it quite has the realism I want/need for this professional project. Though interested if anyone disagrees! Let me know your thoughts! I'm hoping not to break the bank on another piano, but I'd love to have something that sounds super realistic to slot into my wider instrument collection (Nucleus, Metropolis Ark, Damage 2, Gravity etc) Thanks all!

A bit sound designy but I'm awlays grabbing Ascend by Heavyocity. The Ascendant Wings preset is 10/10
Share your TOP 3 tracks by your TOP 3 Composers
I'm interested to see what everyone will post for this one. Basically one favourite composer for each track. I'll start: - Hiroyuki Sawano - YouSeeBigGirl [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Drfcw8f3Bs] - Keiichi Okabe - Grandma (Destruction) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca1lRiswzbA] - Yoko Shimomura - Somnus (Instrumental) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xh2O-qJSpys]

@Clemens Hackmack cheers man! That section you mention for YOUSEEBiggirl is the main section everyone loves it for. To be honest for that one I was debating between that or another one called ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn <WMId> [https://youtu.be/DmW4KFikfcg?si=_SR5-qjk4j2eh3-T] But had to choose YOUSEEBiggirl as I just get goosebumps everytime listening to it. Loved your choices as well man! Especially the second one! The first one has insane emotional build. You should try covering that for practice. The third one is too classical for me for this week. I was listening to things like this more back in October, for some reason I’m currently on a very different sound designy vibe . But will keep it in my playlist for when I’m a classical mood again haha
Orchestral Tools... FFOSSO??
Orchestral Tools just premiered a video for FFOSSO, a new Spitfire LABS-like software. What do you guys think? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SojzHdgbP4M

@Andrea Greco sounds fantastic. How's constrictor? do you like it?
Shallow pockets 🤣 (choirs)
Hey community hope everyone is doing good, I’m trying to go all in I just bought the trailblazer 1 & 2 from the master @Alex Pfeffer but my pockets are not that deep 🤣🤣 , I’m locking for a really good and affordable choir library that I can use to practice and maybe use on my first jobs, between $100 and $150. I was locking into eastwest Hollywood choir. Let me know and thanks šŸ™šŸ»

My favourite OST of all time, Attack On Titan, was done using Lacrimosa from 8Dio. It’s very affordable and powerful. Listen to YouSeeBigGirl by Hiroyuki Sawano (my top favourite composer). I think it can’t get more epic than that on budget. However, I still do believe that Chorus by Audio Imperia in collaboration with Performance Samples is the best choir library money can buy
