Getting Started
The PowerBook Method is all about keeping it simple and doable. You don’t have to start from scratch or try to become a professional writer. Instead, we take what you already know — your ideas, your content, your experience — and shape it into a book that feels natural, clear, and powerful for your business. Think of it as a guided path: we focus on what matters most, cut out the overwhelm, and make sure you end up with a book that not only represents your expertise but also helps you connect with the clients you want to reach. Share where you are starting from. Which one resonates the most with you?

What’s your book goal?
“Why do you want to publish 12 books?” That’s what an advisor asked me on a group coaching call. My goal was based on reading 10X is Easier Than 2X. I set a goal that I had never done before, and didn't have any idea how to complete. It was a really big massive goal that pushed me outside of my comfort zone and forced me to expand in order to achieve it. As they say in the book: "The bigger the goal, the fewer the paths. The clearer the decision." This also aligned with what my mentor shared on setting goals: He said: Narrow the number of goals you focus on. Really prioritize what matters, and go all in on three or four things. His idea was that you can set bigger goals — but you limit the amount you're chasing. You shouldn’t have to try and remember your goals. They should be crystal clear, top of mind, and everything you do should align to support them. That clicked for me. And my core goal for 2025 became publishing 12 books in 2025. No set book topics. No deadlines. Just: Start. And I began with what I knew — finishing my first manuscript and getting it published by the end of January. That book took the entire month. Between finishing, formatting, and figuring out Amazon KDP, it was a full learning curve. In February, writing the second book went faster. But editing stalled. But here’s what matters: I’ve learned from every step. Setting a goal you don't yet know how to achieve forces you to grow in ways you can’t plan for. You don’t need all the answers upfront. You just need the next step — and a willingness to adjust as you learn. Which is exactly what we're committed to doing inside this community. We are staying persistent in figuring it out and achieving our publishing goals. At the time of this writing (Sept 2025), I now have six books published this year. 👊🏽 And two more are in progress. 🎉 And I feel like every book gets better because I'm getting better. That’s the real reason why I’m publishing 12 books this year — and why you should consider setting a goal that feels bigger than you right now, too.

Where do you get stuck the most?
We all have moments where we feel stuck — sometimes it shows up in our energy, sometimes in our focus, sometimes in our follow-through. I’m curious… which of these feels most like you right now?

Feel like you’re working hard but not making any real progress?
You start projects but don’t finish them. You stay busy but don’t feel accomplished. Your brain keeps jumping from one thing to the next. And even though you want more for your life, your nervous system feels rattled and unprepared for the new journey you dream of. This is the shadow side many women live in — the place where your desire for more collides with distractions, scattered focus, and self-sabotage. In Human Design, we call it living in the shadow. And for women who also carry ADHD symptoms (sometimes without even realizing it), the struggle can feel even heavier. In this group, we’re uniquely building awareness — learning how to recognize our Human Design patterns so we can experiment with new ways of standing in our power, using our gifts, and creating better results. At the same time, we’re supporting our ADHD brains and the distractions that so often set us back. Blending these two approaches helps you start exploring the resources and supports you need to finally get on track and make real strides toward your goals. It’s not because you’re lazy, broken, or incapable. It’s because your brain and body are working against the alignment you were designed for. The shadow keeps you spinning in frustration instead of stepping into satisfaction. The way forward begins with awareness. Understanding your design. Honoring the way your brain functions instead of fighting against it. When you do that, the shadow loses its grip, and you can finally start creating the results you’ve been craving. Question for you: Do you recognize yourself in this — staying busy but not moving forward? What does that look like in your daily life right now? Begin by taking the workshop: From Frustration to Satisfaction.

Inside this community, you’ll be surrounded by others who have the mission of creating a book for their business. This is your space to: • exchange ideas with others and ask for ideas for your own book • find your path for turning your content into a book -- and staying motivated • be respectful and protect what others share in the group (we want to feel safe sharing ideas) This is not your space to be aggressive in pushing "your way or the highway" mentality in the comments. You can offer help or suggestions when someone asks. Don't be spammy or try selling to people. If someone likes what you have to share, Skool is an awesome community where you can DM someone privately to connect. So now, we begin with one simple but powerful question: Why did you decide to join in? What are you motivated to accomplish? Sharing your voice helps encourage others

Building this community gives me an outlet to share and bring value to other women, but it is also a blessing to me. For every thought review, process, and share, I work through the concept myself and take action so I can be an example. That helps me grow as much as it does you. So thank you for being here 😁
