Finished clue 5 and moved to sleeve’s. The more I thought about it, the more the length bothered me, so after sleeping on it first thing Saturday morning I frogged it back to the first textured portion of clue 4 and am now redoing ribbing. I did get both sleeves started through clue 3, with intent to do them one after the other section by section. I will get there! Am so enjoying this sweater and seeing everyone’s progress as we go along.💜💜💜

Clue 5 Collages
I'm very late with it this week, but they are still the most gorgeous collection of sweaters I've seen in this world!! You're all doing me so proud, I can't even begin to coherently convey how it feels when I look at all this beauty!! ❤️ Again, this selection is truly random but no where near a the complete set as a lot more have been shared! 🤩

A new stash-busting sweater for your leftovers and single skeins
While we are all busy stash busting the Rujuu Sweater together in our MYAL, I wanted to share a new pattern that was born from the same mission: using up leftovers and single skeins on purpose. 🙂 The Emel Sweater is a colourwork pullover worked at worsted gauge, which means you can mix yarn weights to hit gauge, just like you have been doing with Rujuu. The colours are organised into five tonal categories that progress from light to dark, so the result looks considered rather than random. It uses a seamless top-down construction with a European shoulder, and the longer floats are managed with Ladderback Jacquard, including a three colour version I cover in a dedicated tutorial on YouTube. There is also a full construction deep-dive video if you want to understand the build before you cast on. 🤓 The Rujuu and Emel sweaters share the same gauge and a similar approach to colour, so if you have leftovers from the MYAL or you’re inspired by the gorgeous combinations shared on here, this is another project to put them to use.🤩 Use code EMEL20 at checkout on Ravelry or Etsy for an intro discount, valid until 1st March, midnight UK time.
