Seated Calf Press!
Hey @Markus Reinhardt question for you. Whats the highest ammount of reps you would recommend before increasing the weights(lbs).! Thanks

If I understood correctly — when you do too many reps (like a hundred), the muscle stops being the limit. Your heart takes over. That's not growth. That's cardio.
Quick one for you guys…my Drawing
I actually drew this myself. And yeah, it ties right into how I approach training… and life. I’ve always been wired to think outside the box. Not follow the crowd. Not just accept what everyone else is doing because it’s “normal.” I’d rather use reason and logic and figure out what actually works. Same thing here. Truth is… I used to be heavy into drawing years ago, then I stopped. And just like training, when you step away from something, you come back a little rusty. No way around it. You suck a bit at first. But you shake it off. You get back to it. You rebuild. That’s exactly where I’m at right now. Back in the game with drawing, same as training… just focused on getting the absolute most out of whatever natural ability I’ve got. And here’s the interesting part… I didn’t even know I could draw until a few years ago. No joke. It was one of those things that just kind of showed up once I actually tried. Like someone realizing they can sing out of nowhere. Point is — most people never even test themselves. They stay in that box. Same routines, same habits, same thinking. There’s more there. Way more. You just have to be willing to step outside the box and find it. Same applies to your training. Same applies to everything.

The Thinker evolved beyond the box. That is COOL! I love drawing too. Like a cybernetic "Thinker" breaking beyond the box. This to me is pure Heavy Duty mentality — logic, evolution, and independent thought. 🔥💀 What I really see here really isn't just a drawing. It's a symbol. You're not drawing to make pretty pictures. You're drawing because you think differently.
Carb 300 routine
So I was curious about the workout routine in the carb 300 program, specifically for Friday optional conditioning and what that entails, are we talking about a bodyweight workout routine, hiit cardio, etc? Just wanted clarification on that whenever

@Markus Reinhardt That's a great insight.
Low Carb or Higher Carb? Here’s The Truth
One thing I’ve learned over the years is this: Both low-carb and moderate-carb diets can work for fat loss. The mistake people make is turning either one into a religion. With High-Intensity Training, we are asking the body to recover from very brutal workouts. That means recovery, performance, sleep, hormones, and muscle retention all matter. Very low carb can absolutely tighten you up quickly: • less water retention • lower appetite • faster scale drop But over time, many people notice: • weaker workouts • flatter muscles • worse recovery • lower energy On the other hand, moderate carbs often help: • training intensity • muscle fullness • recovery • gym performance Especially for hard-training people over 40. The truth is, calories still matter. But hormones, recovery, and sustainability matter too. That’s why I don’t believe in extremes. I believe in strategic nutrition that supports REAL training performance and long-term progress. That’s exactly why I created the CARB300 Manual. It’s available now inside the Premium Course Section here in Heavy Duty Nation. Markus

Just bought the Nutrition Manual. Smart food choices you have too ... i see there — not just training. Respect. I'll read it, apply it, and let you know, how much help me.
Training Style vs Training System
Quick observation from decades in the gym. Most lifters don’t actually follow a training system. They follow a training style. A style usually means: More exercises More sets More days in the gym More exhaustion And because the workout feels hard, people assume it must be working. But effort alone doesn’t guarantee progress. A system answers different questions: • How much work actually stimulates growth? • When is the stimulus complete? • How long should recovery take? • How do you progress the next workout? Without that structure, a lot of lifters just repeat workouts and hope something changes. This is exactly what we’ll be breaking down in tomorrow’s Heavy Duty Nation live session. 🕢 Live chat — 7:30 PM Premium members will be able to join the discussion live and ask questions directly. If you’ve been stuck in your training or feel like your workouts aren’t producing what they should, this is the conversation to be in. And if you want to understand the system behind my training, I’ve laid it out step-by-step inside my manuals. 👉 https://hitmanuals.com Stay intense, Markus

AGREE 1000% and more!!! Style feels productive. System proves productive. Most chase the feeling. Few build the system. This is the difference between those who grow and those who just sweat.
