Mixing physical with digital
Hi guys. After a bit of advice please. I’ve been running a digital print shop on Etsy for many years. Selling in 5 ratio sizes for customers to print themselves. I’d like to start offering physical prints too. Do you think it’s a good or bad idea to sell both in the same shop? Or will it just confuse my customers?

@Laura R Hello! do you recommend starting with the digital and adding physical posters later? for the best sellers?
A0 Sharpness
Hi, I use midjourney to make my ai posters. Midjourney can make the images at the A,2,3,4,5 aspect ratio, but cant make the images at the A0 size. Meaning in order to offer A0 as a poster size option i have to upscale, the midjourney image which is A2 etc size. but upscaling means a reduction in quality and sharpness. I would prefer to make A0 midjourney image and then downscale from there, but midjourney wont let me make an A0 size image. is this something someone can help with ? How does everyone else make A0 and A1 size posters while maintaining good quality ?

@Mihai Volintiriu Hello! very informative post, however, I don't have the photoshop resizing script, should I upscale to A0 size, then after I receive an order resize the image and upload it to Printshrimp?

@Curt Howett ok, thank you!
My Process
Guys I just wanted to know if my process is correct: 1. upscale creativly in Midjourney & download image 2. upscale x4 in the app "upscayl" 3. open in canva to add additional design (the biggest size of the each scalables sizes) 4. download as PNG to the max quality 5. Upload to Printshrimp after receiving an order Please confirm before I go on wasting too much time if i'm wrong :)

@Helmer J Hello thanks, for the final A-size image, do you mean A0?

@Josh Duncan ah ok, that's good! I really don't want to waste hours on midjourney upscaling if I can do that for free with some other tool!
Advice
Hi, just wanted to check I’m following the right process. Am I supposed to upscale my image in Midjourney before taking it into Photoshop and listing on Etsy? What I’ve been doing so far is: creating the image in Midjourney → clicking Creative → opening it in Photoshop → saving as PSD and PNG → then listing on Etsy. I haven’t added any designs to PrintShrimp yet — I was planning to do that once a purchase is made — just wanted to make sure my workflow is correct before I go any further. Thanks!

@Jack Gowan Hello do you upscale in Midjourney AND then in Upscayl X4?

@Jack Gowan nice, thank you
Upscaling
I'm willing to use the "upscayl" app, do I also need to upscale from midjourney too, before download?
