You Rock!
You are making it through the week, and you showed up again today. Whether yesterday was smooth or rocky, you processed it, learned, and came back. That’s not small. That’s choosing life, one day at a time. Take 10 seconds right now: What’s one small way you showed up this week that your younger self would be proud of? Drop it below and lets show our nervous systems that we rock 🤘

I‘m aiming to be there for myself every moment I can remember it
Notice the Pattern
Most of us can trace our struggles back to one repeating pattern that keeps showing up in different forms. What’s one pattern you’ve noticed in yourself, maybe in relationships, habits, or even how you respond to stress, that you’d love to finally break? (No pressure to go deep if you don’t want to. Even a small example can spark ideas for others.)

Not following what is mine to follow but instead focussing on what will make me safe. Like thinking about what others like my partner would like me to do instead of doing what I would like to do. (The irony is, people you truely value mostly are desperate to see you focus on yourself but it's a hard to break pattern)

@Danny O'Keeffe Yes, 100 percent. The pattern serves a - perceived - purpose. Look into the need for this "supposed" purpose. 🙏
Ho’oponopono
Most people carry loops that never really switch off. A memory. A mistake. A resentment. It sits in the background and keeps your nervous system on edge. I tested something called 'Ho’oponopono', an ancient Hawaiian forgiveness ritual. Here’s how I used it: 1. I brought up the memory that was still stuck on repeat. 2. Instead of fighting it, I spoke these four lines slowly, like I meant them: - I love you. - I’m sorry. - Please forgive me. - Thank you. 3. I cycled through them for 5 minutes, letting the words land in my body. At first it felt mechanical. Then something loosened. It wasn’t about excusing the past, it was about deleting the emotional charge it left inside me. 👉 Try it tonight. Five minutes. Then come back here and drop what you noticed.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but are those lines directed towards oneself, to someone we hurt in the situation, to the situation itself... or just don't direct them and let them drop?
Reflection Prompt – Who Did You Have to Be to Stay Safe?
Think back: who did you have to become to stay safe in your childhood home? Quiet? Funny? Perfect? Invisible? That identity kept you alive then. But now it might be blocking the freedom you want. Write a short reflection here. Naming it is the first step in letting it go.

I’ve been thinking about this since I read the post and am not sure. I know what I became: the super chatty, super bubbly, always clever little girl - I’m still not sure why, and that means I also still don’t know which part of that is also my nature and which developed as a compensation mechanism.
