Loglines
I came across Philip Shelley who runs the Channel 4 Screenwriting course when I submitted a play a last year. He regularly sends out a free newletter with interesting tricks and tips for writers. He did a blog on loglines last year which some might find of interest. One of the loglines mentioned is actually from my first ever play https://script-consultant.co.uk/loglines/
My Next Project …
Hi everyone, To give a little more insight into my upcoming short film project, here is my logline. Before I start the casting call, with the support of a casting director, I’m still looking for a co-author & co-producer. I’m also currently working on the mood board. I made a first draft of the mood board with AI, but it's only meant to serve as a food for thought & inspiration. I still have to work on the details & lighting conditions myself: Dreamscapes of the Dispersed & Echoes of Aspiration A group of trained actors, scattered across Europe & struggling with the daily challenges of life & their societies, passionately pursue their dream, which they believe will lead them to their destined happiness. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Agree with Guy your concept seems to fits with an episodic structure. If you're still toying with the idea of wanting to make a short film , you could always pick one character to focus on. A short film or a short online web episode could be used as leverage for a longer term project with other characters ; the feedback your short film/online episode attracts could spark interest, a way to show evidence of marketability to apply for future financial backing and support and it also promotes your work. Your mood board suggests a dramatic piece rather than a comedy - Is that the genre you were thinking of ?
Logline for Web-series-Feedback please, I used an AI generator to improve my Logline.

@Anthony Brown Glad it was useful. Yes I direct but most of my experience is with the theatre. I did write and direct my first and only short to date during lockdown with one actor and one cameraman and me . I dont know if I could confidently say I could direct a web series but alway happy to assist .
Intro, thanks and GOALS!
Lovely to see you all tonight and thanks for space and time as always Guy. I have some other small side goals, but the main one the first half of this year is to continue developing, write, rewrite, work and shoot the pilot for a comedy show I have been working on. My deadline for the shoot is 8th June. For the first draft, 19th Jan; the first meet up with director and cast, 26th Jan. Message cast and director by 12th Jan to arrange meet up. There is also a related idea to do with taking a version of this pilot to Edinburgh Fringe as an immersive play for RD/publicity -- still at the early stages of figuring how out much time, money and work that will take and how realistic this August would be as a goal. Open to exploring possibilities and doing some research. All help or experience welcome if any to share! See you all next week
