Actors Thoughts for Thursdays!
Great acting doesn't come from simply reciting lines or saying the words correctly. The real performance comes from our imagination, emotions, experiences and unique interpretation of the character. The script is just the blueprint; We are what brings it to life. In other words: the magic isn't on the page, it's in the actor.

Actors Thoughts for Thursdays!
Show - Black Mountain, 26-29th August in Bristol, 4th Sept in Cardiff
Sharing the show I'm directing: "In a cabin in a forest by a mountain, Paul and Rebecca find time, space and truth to try saving their fractured relationship. Yet in the shadow of the mountain, paranoia grows as someone from their past has followed them here. A psychological thriller that dives into betrayal and the price of trust, forgiveness and revenge. With razor-sharp dialogue and an atmosphere thick with dread, this is modern theatre that creeps under your skin and lingers long after the lights fade. Who can you trust in the dark, who can you trust atop the mountain?" Tickets on sale now. 26-29th August, Alma tavern, Bristol Buy Tickets – Black Mountain by Brad Birch – Alma Tavern and Theatre 4th September, Porters, Cardiff Black Mountain at Porter's Theatre event tickets from TicketSource You can follow our production group here: Instagram Facebook

Actors Wisdom for Wednesdays!
This is a reminder that staying playful keeps us creatively alive. The moment we stop being curious, taking risks, improvising, and finding joy in the artists work, we begin to lose the very spark that makes great performances possible. In short: An actor's youth isn't measured by age, it's measured by their willingness to keep playing. Let's play on!

What are the path to become an actor?
I’m new to this journey, but I joined this acting community because I want to grow beyond my comfort zone. As an introvert, communication and self-expression were always difficult for me, and acting feels like a path that can transform both my personality and my future. In the future, I want to build myself as a real-life actor — not just on screen, but as someone who can understand emotions, connect with people, and inspire through stories. At the same time, I also want financial stability and a meaningful career, because I’ve learned that growth, passion, and money all connect in real life. Right now, I’m just taking the first step — learning, improving, and becoming a better version of myself every day.

Actors Wisdom for Wednesdays!
As actors, it's easy to focus on how long it takes to "make it." But Seneca reminds us that the real measure of a career isn't its duration but it's how fully we show up, how courageously we tell stories, and how deeply we connect with others through our craft. Every audition, self tape, and performance is an opportunity to act with excellence.
