Hi everyone, quick questions: Is anyone in this community from New York? I'll be there at the beginning of October & plan to attend the New York Film Festival. However, I don't know yet whether I'll go accredited or as a public visitor. I intend to attend screenings, panels, or networking events. Has anyone had any experience with this or plans to go there? So, here’s something to wrap up my Cannes adventure. It was absolutely worth it: I was able to make many connections, & I’ll be reaching out to some of them again after the festival for additional meetings. That’s at least a good piece of homework I can do. But the real highlight for me was that I was lucky enough to attend the closing ceremony with a valid ticket. I got to walk the red carpet, take my seat at the Grand Théâtre Lumière, & witness the awards ceremony live with my own eyes. An absolutely grand finale & one of the most important moments of my life. To me, it’s a sign that next year will be even better. As the perfect ending to the evening, I also had the chance to meet actor James Franco — a great calendar closer for the night.
