Duplicate Courses Info | Skool Feature Coming + Sam Commented
Not everyone saw the full update, so hereโ€™s the scoop from todayโ€™s Skool News plus extra info from the comments and a fast clarification from Sam himself. Four minute response time. Legend. โœ… You can now: โ€ข Duplicate entire courses โ€ข Duplicate folders in courses And the big one: Youโ€™ll soon be able to share a course between communities using a course key. Only owners can do this. Think Canva template vibes. Once itโ€™s shared, the other group gets its own version and can make changes without touching the original. Thank you @Lara Sloan for asking the key questions that helped get clarity fast. Sam confirmed: "Once itโ€™s imported the original has no connection to the new course." @Matthew Burns made a great post "What are some creative ways you're planning to use the Shared Course feature?" and you might go check it out/follow it/add to the convo to get ideas. Here are some of them now: โ€ข You can sell or gift course templates โ€ข You can give preview access in your free group, and house the full course in your paid one โ€ข You can run challenge-based or pop-up groups that pull content from your main community โ€ข You can create universal training for your whole team or org โ€ข You can help affiliates launch faster by giving them editable content instead of making them start from scratch Itโ€™s not out yet, but itโ€™s expected to roll out sometime tonight or tomorrow. I will be working on some to make available for duplication.. just have to find time to add it to the to do list lol ๐Ÿ˜… ๐Ÿ‘‡ How will you use it?

Awesome.
Keeping Quiet About Your Message Is Keeping You Broke
What do people know you for? If someone needed what you offer, would your name come to mind? If you are not putting content out there, people will not just forget about you... They will not think of you when they hear someone else needs what you do. You can be the best at what you do, but if you are not visible, someone less qualified but louder will get the clients. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ Show up. Share your message. Repeat it until people can explain what you do. Are you making it easy for people to remember and refer you? Or are you leaving money on the table? โœ… Practice Time: Try to put in 150 characters or less what you do on Skool. No links or direct pitches. Just explain what you do. If it's more than 150 characters, I will delete it.

Whatโ€™s Missing on Skool? Letโ€™s Have Fun Being Creative! ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ’ก
Skool is already packed with some incredible and fun communities, but thereโ€™s always room for more creativity! Ever thought, โ€œWhy isnโ€™t there a community for that?โ€ Maybe something for impressive balloon animals, hosting unforgettable parties, DIY projects, or something totally unique? ๐Ÿ’ก Letโ€™s brainstorm together! Whatโ€™s a hobby, skill, or interest that would make an amazing community? It doesnโ€™t have to be something youโ€™d start, just an idea of a community youโ€™d love to join and pay $5-$7 (or more) a month for. โœจ How to Join the Fun: 1. Post your idea as a comment. (Only ONE community idea per comment please. Post as many as you want.) 2. See something you love? Use the reply button to add your thoughts and hype it up. Letโ€™s build on each otherโ€™s ideas. โคต๏ธ Keep it Organized: Please reply directly to comments using the reply function so everything stays neat and together. ๐Ÿ‘‡ Drop as many ideas as you can think of. Letโ€™s make this the go-to thread for sparking new community inspiration on Skool! ๐Ÿš€

How Do You Build an Amazing Community? | Erika Has The Answers ๐Ÿ™Œ
About a year ago, Erika, a community manager for the Skool Community, shared her insights on the Skool Stories podcast. ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ She talked about how finding an online community gave her a place to belong and how that experience shaped her approach to community management today. Thank you, @Erika Kulpina, for sharing your story with us! ๐Ÿซถ Here are a few takeaways: - Make People Feel Welcome: A warm welcome helps new members feel like they belong right away. - Focus on Quality: The best communities are built with the right people, not just big numbers. - Have Fun Together: Casual chats, game nights, or even a shared laugh can make your community stronger. She also just made an amazing post in the Skool Community called 5 Best Practices for Community Management. (Go check it out and hype this amazing human up for sharing this for everyone! ๐ŸŽ‰) ๐Ÿ‘‡ After you watch the video, what is one thing you will try in your community or one you support?

She's a legend. Welcomed me when I joined back in 2023.
You Need To Know Your 3 P's No Matter Your Role
Whether you're a community owner, supportive role, or a service provider for communities, you need to know your 3 P's. Why? Because it will help you with conversions or help you get paid your worth. The 3 P's are Promise, Proof, & Plan. Promise needs to be tangible. It can't be something like "feel supported", because that will change based on each person's perspective of what support feels like.. and *shakes head side to side* you do not want to be responsible for fulfilling that promise. Proof is if you've done it for yourself or others. That's why I say to track it all. If you're an owner track everything before and after you make changes. Track what your members say is their current situation then after your help. Supportive roles & Service Providers you want to track everything you can see and ask the owners/clients questions to establish the start point and track how it improves with your help. The more tangible results the better. You also get to include pain points in this part, which will help the reader know it's for them. Pain points/problems that went through plan got this promise and this is how it feels to have desired outcome = Proof Plan is how you are going to do that. Owners this is where you put details on your offer and how it'll help. Supportive Roles this is where you identify the tasks you can and will do for the owners. Bonus points if you can tell them why it's important. Service providers this is where you say how they get the service, what it helps, and expected completion time frame. The plan should be clear enough and cut out the fluff. If you rely on ChatGPT to put "What's inside" or explain the details, you will not stand out and will be just another person with a "Resource Library" or "Proven Roadmap". Community Owners: If you are an owner, then this is what you'd put on your about page and you'd want to know this clearly for when you're having conversations with others. A potential member should be able to look at or hear your 3 P's and go "Yes! That is what I need." without needing to investigate further to understand what you offer.
