You Need To Know Your 3 P's No Matter Your Role
Whether you're a community owner, supportive role, or a service provider for communities, you need to know your 3 P's. Why? Because it will help you with conversions or help you get paid your worth. The 3 P's are Promise, Proof, & Plan. Promise needs to be tangible. It can't be something like "feel supported", because that will change based on each person's perspective of what support feels like.. and *shakes head side to side* you do not want to be responsible for fulfilling that promise. Proof is if you've done it for yourself or others. That's why I say to track it all. If you're an owner track everything before and after you make changes. Track what your members say is their current situation then after your help. Supportive roles & Service Providers you want to track everything you can see and ask the owners/clients questions to establish the start point and track how it improves with your help. The more tangible results the better. You also get to include pain points in this part, which will help the reader know it's for them. Pain points/problems that went through plan got this promise and this is how it feels to have desired outcome = Proof Plan is how you are going to do that. Owners this is where you put details on your offer and how it'll help. Supportive Roles this is where you identify the tasks you can and will do for the owners. Bonus points if you can tell them why it's important. Service providers this is where you say how they get the service, what it helps, and expected completion time frame. The plan should be clear enough and cut out the fluff. If you rely on ChatGPT to put "What's inside" or explain the details, you will not stand out and will be just another person with a "Resource Library" or "Proven Roadmap". Community Owners: If you are an owner, then this is what you'd put on your about page and you'd want to know this clearly for when you're having conversations with others. A potential member should be able to look at or hear your 3 P's and go "Yes! That is what I need." without needing to investigate further to understand what you offer.
