The Mystery Yokealong is back!
Our Mystery KAL is officially back for year three! We’re knitting a top-down round yoke sweater (or a steeked cardigan) together over seven weekly clues, kicking off on January 16th. This year, we’re leaning into stash-busting, so feel free to start hunting through your yarn collection now. You can get all the details on the Ravelry pattern page or here on Skool in the dedicated Classroom where I’ll also be posting all the relevant video tutorials as clues become available. We’d love for you to jump in and share your yarn picks, questions, and progress photos. Just use the "MYAL 2026" category for your posts. Heads up: we aren’t doing spoiler alerts this time, so feel free to post away in whatever way you like just as long as it is in that category! I can’t wait to see what you all come up with this year.

@Hrund Gautadottir I agree, it’s so nice to get feedback. I can’t wait to see your sweater come to life!
2026 yoke along
Will there be a 2026 yoke along ? If so when does it start ?

I’m so excited to learn more about the 2026 MKAL. Yarn weight and requirements would be great, just in case I have time to spin a constant color.

@Zanete Hussain great thank you! Really looking forward to it. I loved last years so much.
And that’s a wrap for MYAL 2025!
Thanks so much to everyone who joined the Live Fashion Show! It was amazing hearing your stories and seeing all your awesome projects. If you missed it, here’s the recording so you can catch up! Most of you said you’d love to do this again, so it’s definitely looking like it’ll happen. 😍 The only question now is about the yarn weight. I know the group might be a bit biased since you just finished a fingering weight sweater, but let’s hear what you think anyway—what should next year’s MYAL yarn weight be? 🤔 Share your thoughts in the comments if you have strong opinions about a specific weight and the reasons behind it! 🙏

Yes! I’m definitely in for next year. This was my first year and I enjoyed it so much. I can’t wait to go back and watch the video to see everyone’s sweaters.
Save the date! The MYAL Virtual Fashion show is on 9th of April
We’re so excited to invite you to the Do Ewe Yoke No. 2 Mystery Yokealong Virtual Fashion Show! 💃 It’s happening on Zoom and will also be streamed live on my YouTube channel. We’d love for you to join the Zoom meeting and show off your project and share your experience. 😍 The time, link to join and passcode are in the calendar event. P.S. We’ll also chat about next year—whether we should do this again, and if so, any ideas or suggestions you have, like yarn weights or what to include. 🤓 I can’t wait to see as many of these gorgeous creations on screen together! ❤️

@Naheed Brown I wonder if we are able to put up photos that she could show in our place? I plan on watching the replay but I do wish I could be there. I’m in Oregon too.
Clue 7 - the final clue - is waiting for you!
I’m a little sad to say I’ve just uploaded the final clue for this mystery yokealong. If you’ve been keeping up, you’ll know it’s the last piece of the puzzle—yep, the sleeves! I can’t wait to see all the creative takes on the sleeves, just like we saw with the neckband. I hope you enjoy these final instructions as much as I’ve loved putting this year’s mystery together. This has turned out to be so much more than I ever imagined. Thank you all so much!

It’s finally off the needles! This is pre-blocking. It’s currently sitting in a warm bath now. I sure hope the line across the lower body, from where I put it on try it on tubing, comes out in blocking. Does anyone have experience with that?

@Zanete Hussain haha, thanks! I’ve soaked it and layed it out and if the line is still there it appears to be much less noticeable. I definitely wouldn’t rip back either. Once it’s been worn a bit things should settle down too.
