I’m so excited for this ribbon! Since the pattern is inspired by Latvian designs, I wanted to keep the meaning. I found this adorable ribbon with hedgehogs! It matches my cardigan perfectly 😍 I learned in Latvian culture, the hedgehog represents a quiet, strategic resilience. It symbolizes "endurance without hardness"—a strength that is persistent and determined but does not need to be loud or imposing.

I'm so pleased I split the gradient yarn into 3 to accommodate the same colours for the sleeves. No idea how they'll turn out, but this is the fun of mystery projects!

I have to block it. And weave in the ends… maybe 🫣. But I LOVE it!!!! Now on to finish the cardigan. I’ll have to ask my husband to take proper pics once it’s blocked.
