FB / Ad Account - Payment Issues
One of my clients ad accounts has now been down for around 3 weeks due to payment failure issues. We’ve been back & forth with Facebook every single day but its been banging your head against the wall. Tried 4 different payment methods including PayPal and my business card that is successfully used for my ads, so its a FB issue not the banks. The cycle consistently goes ad account disabled > appeal & fb review > fb enable account > attempt to make payment, payment fails & account is disabled. Has anyone came across similar & fixed it? And as last resort would it be safe to connect his fb page to one of my dormant ad accounts and run his ads from that?

@Thure Sander OK that seems a really decent option then if FB can't fix it in the next day or so. Thanks Thure!

Lead Tracking - DCT
When running DCT, is there a way to see what specific lead came through each creative/text? I know people who run multiple ads can pull the ad ID but I believe one dct is one ad id. So is there an alternative?

@Thure Sander feel like you may have mentioned this to me before 🙋‍♂️

@Thure Sander Oh okay, so when a new lead comes in you'll manually go in and see what variation just got a new lead. That's going to be very hard to do at +10 clients - isnt it?
Free Client Retention System for SMMA (One Scenario, No Webhooks)
Hi all — one of the biggest problems I kept running into was client retention.Clients were dropping off after 1–2 months with no warning, even when results were decent. After a bunch of trial and error, I finally built a simple system that works — and it runs 100% free on Make.com with no webhooks or paid tools. Here’s how it works: - Step 1: Use Make.com to send weekly check-in emails to your active clients - Step 2: Clients fill out a Google Form with quick feedback - Step 3: GPT reads their responses and flags if they’re feeling unsure, unhappy, or at risk of leaving The best part?It all runs in a single Make scenario, no complex setup, and no dev skills needed. I’ve attached: - The exact Make.com scenario (JSON file) - The ChatGPT prompt used for sentiment analysis - A simple instruction file to set it up in under 30 minutes Let me know if you want help adjusting it for your agency or niche. It’s saved me from surprise client losses more than once.

This is cool man, going to try setting it up to send once per month. Something I do manually usually.
Recruiting Ads
I'm doing a trial run for a client to help them hire some new employees. They're a bathroom remodeler and need more handymen. I'm wondering, what's the best way to approach making recruiting ads? Are there any major differences I should keep in mind compared to customer acquisition ads? With customer ads, we usually lean into pain points. But for recruiting, I’m not totally sure what the angle should be. Appreciate any ideas you’ve got!

If you get some success with this, be sure to let us know! Something I'm considering trying as I've had clients who are struggling with recruitment.
Collecting cash on sales call
Thought I'd share a new approach that’s made closing and taking payment from prospects on sales calls way smoother I used to run into the same frustrating issue of a prospect being fully sold on the offer, but when it came time to pay they’d hesitate. They’d say they needed to get money together, wait on an invoice, or “sort a few things first.” I realized that the way I was asking for payment was part of the problem. Dropping a payment link or invoice at the end felt too abrupt—like I was suddenly shifting focus to their money instead of the value they were getting. And this lost me the deal more often than not. So I made a small change to my process. Instead of sending a payment link, I built out a simple packages page on my website. On the sales call, I walk them through it—showing them the offer, pricing, and setup fees in a super clear way (setup fee to boost LTV). Now, when they say they’re happy to move forward, the page is right in front of them. All they do is click “Sign Up,” fill in their details, and payment is handled right then and there. No awkwardness, no friction. Signed my last two clients this way, and so far, every single person who clicks “Sign Up” follows through. Curious to know if this is something many others are doing? Haven't seen much discussion on this but it's a small change that's made a massive difference for me

Is this like creating a payment page on GHL with different options?
