Best Dupes?
Well, I was on a search for some new and fresh scents for spring and summer and ended up going down a rabbit hole on youtube. At the end of my search, I grabbed up 4 bottles of dupes from Montagne: Imaginary (LV Imagination dupe-really good...Still want the original but this one is super close.), got a blonde amber, torino 2021 and blue talisman dupe as well...all for under $160. Anyone have any thoughts on these or other good dupes? Love the LV but at $400 a bottle versus this one at $40..I had to try.
Two farewells this weekend
Once a collection reaches a certain point, let’s say over 100 bottles, when the time comes that a bottle gets polished off it’s very much a satisfying sensation and almost a celebratory event, lol 😂. Two excellent frags that have served me well these last couple years, and money well spent. Enjoy the evening frag fam.

Well done! I still have an original Dior Fahrenheit from the 80's...about half full...my late wife couldn't do colognes...I think I've bought more frags since she passed than I have in my life. Soooo many good scents out there. One of my dates told me she puts perfume on before bed, for herself. Me too now...great way to try new samples and see if I like them.
Which Creed?
So! I’m buying a Creed fragrance next week. Before I do, here’s a few questions for the group. 1- Given the choice of Virgin Island Water or Wild Vetiver, which would you go for? 2- Given the entire line to choose from, which would you buy?

Haven't got my nose to Wild Vetiver, but i love vetiver. So I'd go with that as most Creed stuff you just can 't go wrong with. Whole line-Absolu Aventus for sure.
NICHE vs. DESIGNER — Which Side Are You On?
This is one of the oldest debates in the fragrance world - and opinions run HOT. NICHE FRAGRANCES: Crafted by independent houses obsessed with artistry over mass appeal. Think Amouage, Creed, Serge Lutens. Bold, complex, unapologetically unique. You wear niche and you know no one else in the room is wearing the same thing. But you're paying for the privilege. DESIGNER FRAGRANCES — The Chanels, the Diors, the Tom Fords. Masterfully blended, backed by decades of heritage, and worn by people who know what they're doing. Dior Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel are bestsellers for a reason — they're refined, proven, and never embarrassing. The debate: Is niche fragrance the pinnacle of personal expression — or is it overpriced elitism dressed up as art? And are designer houses underrated gems hiding in plain sight? Tell us: Team Niche or Team Designer? Vote below 👇 — and tell me which house or specific fragrance makes your case? Roast the other camp respectfully — this is a gentleman's debate after all. 😄

Like a lot of the group, I like and have a bit of both, but choose designer for, as said above affordability and availability.
Has the ship run its course?
Well gang, about 2 weeks ago, I decided to step back from BoS for a bit and reflect on the direction it is going because I feel it is going in a direction that is no longer enjoyable and the ship is about to crash a shore. This was my getaway from my normal life, and the day to day BS. I love everything from the $20 Cremo to my almost $500 bottles which includes many niches, ME dupes and of course Dua. Unfortunately, the constant expectation to meet standards, people who flex and crap on those who are not on the same level, the constant lecturing and crapping on people's posts, etc. have ruined BoS. It no longer became enjoyable to share something you like or love and you stop to think about, did I meet someone's expectation? will someone crap on my fragrance because its a brand they dont like? or because the quality is not to their expectations? I know this behavior was brought to @Antonio Centeno attention and some admin/moderators, but no action was taken and it has now spiraled out. I don't know if they even care as long as people are paying up. Sometimes it feels like the people who pay up, feel entitled to do what they want and no one will say otherwise. There were many of us who were very active, have just been dropping like flies over the past couple months and it truly saddens me. I have been here almost 2 years and have learned so much and built many great relationships along the way. There is the hopeful in me that thinks we can rally and turn the ship around and the other thinks it is just doomed to crash among the rocks all the while we see the captain is not even piloting. I wanted to put this out there as many of you have reached out to me to check in and it is that level of care, that makes me appreciative and hopeful for the brotherhood. You know who you are, thank you!!! I haven't jumped ship yet, but to be honest, I am at the rails with my life vest on.

I think this post has the most activity I've seen in a while😅. I feel sort of the same way in that I'm not going to pay up for this or watch lovers or the style community. For me its a place I come to just to check out and see if there's anything new. I'll stay as long as its free as its cool but not something where I'm looking for anything and I don't pay attention to any of the BS-its a part of social media these days, and I'm trying to reduce that for my own sanity. Best to all!
