Tips for Getting A2P Approved Faster 🚨
If you’re planning to run SMS campaigns for your wholesaling business, A2P approval is a must. I see a lot of people get stuck or rejected, so here are a few things that make the process smoother: ✅ Have a website ready – even a simple landing page with a Privacy Policy + Terms of Service. ✅ Include opt-in/opt-out language – make sure your forms clearly state “I agree to receive SMS” and always allow STOP to unsubscribe. ✅ Use your EIN – you’ll need your business registered with a valid EIN (SSN or DUNS won’t work). ✅ Be transparent – clearly explain the purpose of your texts (appointment reminders, promotional offers, updates, etc). ✅ Keep compliance in mind – A2P is all about protecting deliverability and staying compliant with TCPA rules. Once you’ve got brand + campaign approval, your texts actually get delivered instead of flagged as spam Anyone else here gone through the process recently? How long did your approval take?

@Mick Vance Here are some must-know compliance rules before applying: Business Verification – You’ll need a valid EIN/Tax ID and your business info must match official records. Any mismatch = instant rejection. Website & Privacy Policy – A live website with a privacy policy and terms that clearly state SMS usage, opt-in, and opt-out procedures is required. Carriers check this before approval. Opt-In / Opt-Out Rules – You must show how customers consent to receive texts. Every campaign needs clear STOP/HELP instructions built in. Message Consistency – The sample messages you submit must match your actual campaign type (e.g., promotional, reminders, notifications). If carriers catch a mismatch, they’ll suspend it. Separate Use Cases – Appointment reminders and marketing campaigns often need separate approvals. Mixing them under one campaign risks denial.

@Jorge Delarosa It sounds like you’ve got everything ready, website, privacy policy, EIN, branded domain, and email. Using the templates XLeads provides is a smart move. Yes, you should mention the purpose of your texts — something like “reaching out if you’re interested in selling your property” because carriers want to see clear, honest messaging. As long as your recipients have opted in and you follow opt-out rules (STOP/HELP instructions), you won’t be flagged.
A2p
Do you have to have your website setup to get A2p approved? Right now all I have is the EIN # I plan on getting my website setup asap I'm just really bad with that stuff

@Mike Dawe it should lead you to the builders personal site, you just have to message the person through the message button on the lower left side

Xleads lead export?
Hey guys so I’m trying to get my 1st text blast ready but…. It seems I’m having trouble getting the list I pulled into my contacts? I downloaded it but it looks like a big mess, I’m hoping someone here can help me out so I can get the ball rolling. On BatchLeads I knew how to download the list and it was all clean, but I’m having issues since I swapped to Xleads I’m still trying to figure the whole software out some things are a little complicated.

@Dudley Delong Yeah Xleads exports can look messy at first, usually it’s just about formatting the CSV so your dialer/SMS tool can read it properly. Try opening the file in Excel/Google Sheets and cleaning up extra columns (keep just name, phone, address, email if you have it). Then re-save as CSV and import again. I’ve been through the same learning curve, once you get your process down, it’s smooth. Also, double check Xleads’ support chat, they’ve helped a couple times when the mapping didn’t look right.
