๐Ÿง  Design for the 1
Hey Team! Lately, Andy and I have been experimenting with a new way to design experiences. We all know Hormozi talks about "doing the unscalable" at first, getting really good results, and then going from there. Following in that school of thought, lately we've begun conducting 1-on-1 onboarding calls for our event attendees. Now, I know all of us our busy, but as a co-founder duo planning 4 events right now that will happen within the next 2 months, with over 200 expected attendees at all of them... that can sound like simply too much to do. But the value that is created, the insight that is provided... far outweighs the time investment. By meeting with each attendee, we get to hear their story. Their why. Their history. Their goals. What will make the event a home run. Not collected in an onboarding form, but human to human on a zoom call. We then take that data and synthesize it with all of the attendee's answers to find common threads, patterns, and trends. We do this before creating the agenda or the itinerary. It's done to ensure that the event becomes something that will materially move each attendee forward in their journey. This is a win for the host (better client outcomes) This is a win for the attendees (specific help on specific problems) This is a win for us (we get to meet all the attendees and greet them by name at the event) โœ๏ธ THIS is experience design in action! What "unscalable" thing are you doing right now that is bringing outsized returns?

@Ethan Simons Hit 71 today! Woot woot, such cool people coming in. This is going to be quite the party.
You might be hearing this name a lot...
Offline Mode โ˜๏ธ It's the event we just wrapped up for Greg Isenberg, an entrepreneur and creator that helps people get started in business and software. There's a LOT to unpack from the event. The revenue model, the promotion strategy, the experience design. We'll be making a lot of content about this one. What stood out to me though, is a word we picked up from Greg and his operator Jordan. They said the primary reason they wanted to do an IRL event was for 1 simple outcome: Affinity โšก๏ธ (a natural liking, attraction, or feeling of kinship with someone or something, stemming from shared qualities, interests, or origins) They sought to build affinity with their audience. Gather audience members together in a house, chat about business and growth, and help them overcome obstacles. It was a quest to build goodwill and relationships. That's it. It wasn't about money. It wasn't about status. (those are cool, don't get me wrong). It was about people. Again, the deep-dives and analysis will be coming soon. The numbers, the metrics, the KPIs. But i just wanted to share that as a preface. Talk soon!

โœŒ๏ธ Peace out 2025
It was a GOOD year. It was a HARD year. Both can be true at the same time! Some people reject the idea of using the New Yearโ„ข๏ธ as a time to set new goals "why wait for a new year to start a habit/goal" It's true. Don't do that in July lol. But when I look around at family and friends, I see a renewed sense of purpose and a hunger for dreams to become reality. I think that's a beautiful thing. Everyone wants something to change in their life. And for one moment, most of humanity is hoping for those things at the same time. It's pretty cool when you think about it. So, go for it! Whether it's personal, business, health, relationships, spirituality, passion... We're cheering for you ๐Ÿš€ For me and @Andy Monroe, our 2026 goal is quite simple: to make our DFY Event Partnership as valuable as possible! To gather communities, transform lives and businesses, and help more people achieve their goals and dreams through events. I've said this before, but thanks to all of you for being here! 2026 is gonna be awesome ๐ŸŽ† LFG!

@Ethan Simons I've been inviting folks for the event. If they can't make it live, can there be a replay in the community?
