First ever level up call
I’m excited and can’t wait, how about you? Although since I was so occupied today with several meetings that I totally forgot I had this call until my addiction to check Skool clicked the app haha

@Shonte McNeil Hey, We’re at the same page. I also wanna scalp the markets. I wanna go in and out. Nice to meet you. Maybe you can share your findings on scalping the markets and i’ll try my best to share mine.
How many?
How many trades should I back test my strategy on before labelling my strategy as a “back tested strategy”?

@Harjot Singh I get you! I believe like i’ve backtested enough for now and i have all the confidence i want. Should i start forward testing on demo now?
Live trading VS me
A few weeks ago, I bought a funded challenge from Funding Pips ($5k). The first day was extraordinary, giving me a 2.5% profit. However, the very next day, I experienced a loss, which I couldn’t accept. To satisfy my ego, I placed another order (loss), followed by yet another order (loss). I planned for an insane comeback the next day, but I still overtraded and lost. I even took trades that weren’t part of my trading plan. I realized that my mistake was judging my strategy based on just 10-20 demo trades. To correct this, I modified my strategy into something more suitable for my-style-of-trading and backtested it starting from September 3rd, 2024. Unfortunately, due to various reasons, I couldn’t invest in TradeZella or FXReplay. Instead, I stuck with the manual backtesting method using the bar replay option on TradingView. Here are my results!

@Harjot Singh I thought about the 10 things I don’t want when I’m 25 years old. Based on those, I modified my strategy. Right now, the strategy isn’t very efficient for me, but I’ve created it in such a way that it will definitely work for a 25-year-old Sehaj. I kept all your words in mind and implemented them. This was the main reason I changed my strategy—so I won’t have to change it again when I graduate. Weekly Live Training
A Live class every week going over trader practices for consistent results. How excited does the prospect of having a weekly live training sound? Since our community is international, I'd like to know what is the best 'fair value gap' of time where we can find that balance of all timezones being able to attend? Drop in the comments the time you would like. If you go in the Calendar, I have this up as 'Quest Helper Call'

How about third hour of NY session?

@Harjot Singh third hour of NY session has the greatest volume of the day according to my research. So the trades we take together will hit the TP or SL quickly which will allow us to discuss about the trades earlier.
When you teach, you learn.
@Ronny Singh @Armaan Dhir @Sanjiv Singh You guys are at the very early stages of trading. Your focus wants to be on learning about performance which means embracing your personality more everyday. To do that, what you need to do is do the MBTI test, find more out about your numerology and do any other personality test or method you know of. Practise the daily breathing (deep belly inhale with longer exhale). Go over different trading information (know that this is all going to be scattered knowledge with a lot of noise, so the purpose of this is to just soak yourself with trading related things) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @Shonte McNeil @Harvin Singh @Aakash Kale Harvin and Shonte want to schedule a call together. The purpose of this call is for Harvin to teach Shonte how she can get the results he got on his backtesting software. What is the most efficient way to complete this quest. Harvin is just a step above Shonte in this matter, Guiding her will lift both players one level higher each. Harvin will gain confidence and self belief in all the work he has already put in thus making his foundation stronger and battle ready for live trading while Shonte will have a transformation in her POV of how she moves different which will result in her having a robust technical edge which is ready to be taken into demo. @Aakash Kale More engagement with the 2 may prove useful in developing your own trading plan. Maybe even hop on their backtesting call. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @Sehaj Pratap Singh Your issues are mental. Go back to the absolute basics. Mentor/ Take responsibility for @Ronny Singh and @Armaan Dhir and @Sanjiv Singh . Teach them the basics of technical analysis and how to create their own system. Your growth lies in sitting down and not being a trader anymore, rather being a coach and making sure your athletes are thinking the right things, taking the right actions etc... This is what you need right now because you next level up is by becoming a 'bigger' man, that happens when you assume a leaders position and guide others.
When you teach, you learn.
