To celebrate today, have a drink, on me!

G'Day Gents, I just wanted to wish all of our American gentlemen a very Happy 4th of July (it's July 4th in Australia), as well as wish the land of opportunity, a very Happy 250th Birthday.

It took 877 Days (approx. 2 Years & 4 months), but I've finally reached the promised land, becoming the second Australian general within this esteemed group (if I'm not mistaken). I would like to thank @Antonio Cent and the friends that I've made in this group for creating such an incredible international online community.

Congratulations and celebrations from the British Isles to our former charges The United States of America on this monumental 4th of July. Since abandoning our loving embrace some 250 years ago, as a nation you have acquitted yourselves largely adequately. 👍 Of course, should you ever come to your collective senses and desire to return, there’s a pot of weak tea and an oaty biscuit with your name on it. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 (In all seriousness though, happy Independence Day / 250th!) 😊
