Pre Compost Started Indoors For First Time
First of all, much prefer mixing outdoors. ☺️ The goal is to divide into 3 to help start 3 26 gallon bins in a couple of weeks ! Last night I mixed 16 gallons of Micro Cross Cut cardboard with 3 gal of Coffee Grounds, 1.5 qts each of water, Veg Slurry, Rice rinse water, Banana Skins Water, Yeast culture liquid and Veg water from boiling and steaming that was beginning to mould. Great moisture content and this morning had risen 25° above ambient room temperature. Just added another 2 qts of yeast culture water and 3 qts of coffee grounds. Looking forward to see what temps it will be at 11 pm tonight and then in the morning. Very Happy with results so far !

Business Builder Call Rescheduled!
We had a few people who weren't able to make tonight's Business Builder call, so I'm going to postpone it until next week instead! I also figured this was a good opportunity to give a quick reminder of how the memberships work because I know it can get a little confusing. 😊 The free community isn't going anywhere! You're always welcome to hang out, ask questions, share your bins, learn from each other, and use the free resources in the Classroom. If you want a little more access and support, there are two optional paid memberships: Premium — $9/month Includes access to our weekly Live Q&A/Office Hours, the replay library, and all of my guides. VIP — $19/month Includes everything in Premium, all of my ebooks, plus our weekly Business Builder Mastermind calls for anyone interested in making money with worms, castings, composting, living soil, content, products, workshops, or whatever direction your business might take. The Business Builder isn't meant to be a formal business class. It's a place to bring your ideas, questions, problems, wins, and things you're working on so we can brainstorm together, share what's working, and help each other figure out our next steps. There's absolutely no pressure to upgrade. I love having everyone here regardless of membership level! I just want to make sure everyone knows what's available!

Gold At Rainbow's End?
On a whim, I talked to the Gordon's Food Service manager. They sell produce and sometimes they have to get some bad or have it go bad. He said it didn't happen often but he'd call me when it did. Bingo! 50# of potatoes just got put in my freezer! That's gonna feed a lot of pre-compost bins! Now to find more options so I can start dehydrating for greens powder!

Im gonna check at the local KROGER, the salads they make, and dont sell, hit the trash,i dont e pect to recover all ,but a few ,tossed and a bag would help, the mgr will follow up with produce mgr,ill check back this week. I have the gift of gab, people say,I engage in conservation about nothing then seems I can get a request in. I took the mgr of Dutch bro coffee a home made cinnamon roll,(real butter, real sugar) from a local stand at farmers market, because she gave me coffee grounds, i returned with a sweet gift and got more coffee grounds, 3 lbs maybe. But I can collect then into a special tub i have at home, another new idea comming as soo. As I can join the damn call!! Muted ..I return 2 or 3 times a week and get wat i get. The normal gardeners are not hitting them up so much..I. leave them with a unique cheap gift,so they look forward to seeing me,it a plus if cute hahaha. But honestly some great younge people work there and they can say more than HUH or YEAH ..I font fo fast food ,another good place tru k stops have 15 different kinds of coffee, bunches of ground grounds.none close but someone can try there..food places if you ask should save edible trash for one shift..show up and get it, or make a deal with a dish washer oghh my i had a red bull..plus I have not been out and about to burn off this energy yet. Might be missing my meds, thats been missing for years. Happy weekend to all..scott
🪱 24/7 Worm Farm Hangout
Join the Worm Farm Hangout here: 🔗 https://www.skool.com/live/zRBSzM3JjlB Our friend @Rick Redding had a great idea for creating a community hangout room, so I thought I'd give it a try starting July 1. This is a place for anyone in the community to hop on, chat, ask questions, share what you're working on, or just get to know other worm farmers. Whether you're brand new or have been worm farming for years, everyone is welcome. I'll jump in from time to time when I can, but this space is really for all of us to connect and learn from each other. Join the Worm Farm Hangout here: 🔗 https://www.skool.com/live/zRBSzM3JjlB Let's see where this goes! 🪱

At work lots of lil cardboard boxes that once contained some sort of cpu, wrapped in bubble wrap, each box,was opened to get the contents out to destroy, landfill or incinerator, or shreder, the boxes are out to be trashed im recovering for my "worm compost operations" shh lol the lable come off easily, packing tape i got most of it, but is it important to remove the clear pa king tape? I got 📸 photos to share .even cardboard to share, this ki g about taking the bubble wrap....
