Handstand Walk progression
I am working on the handstand progression program. I hate recording myself but figured I need to get more use to it and could always use help. Travis says we need to be able to do handstand marching before walks. I struggle gettin my left leg to commit. Any tips?!? @Travis Ewart

An Oldie but Goodie
Hi Athletes and Coaches! Quite a while back I made a video that really didn't get much traction, BUT it's one of those videos that I send to pretty much everyone who is working on their BMU so they fully understand the way I approach the training for it. Over time, some things have changed, but most changes are quite small. The first grab of the bar position, I have lately been suggesting that people keep their feet BELOW their hips, rather than pointing their feet forward. I started asking people to do this because it is quite opposite of what the legs do on the T2B and the kipping/Bfly pull up, and the most common tendency people have is to overly lift their feet when they jump up. Another thing that I change, I change on the fly depending on the athlete's body proportions. I'm talking about the Target Reach position, which in the video states that your body should be vertical directly beneath the bar (it's just after the initial grab of the bar as the body swings forward). The change I occasionally make goes like this: If an athlete has longer legs and a shorter torso, I have them straighten their body BEFORE their swing gets under the bar. It's a small change, but instead of having their first stretched position directly beneath the bar, I ask they stretch just a little sooner. If an athlete has shorter legs and a long torso, I may ask them to straighten just on the front side of the bar. Me- I'm fairly evenly proportioned, so I stretch directly beneath the bar. There are other things, but I wanted to share this video in the case you haven't seen it, add some context, and if you know anyone who is looking to, at the very least, understand how the bar muscle-up works, you can send it to them! The rising tide lifts all boats ;) Do you know anyone you might want to invite to this group? Share them the link and I'll let them in 💪🤓 Here's the link to the video. It's about 14 minutes long, so plan accordingly... I hope you're all healthy and happy, and keep up with your training!

Kipping HSPU Drill (if you're not ready for the full ROM)
Happy new year everybody! I think I might have missed the boat on that, but I hope it's all going really well so far! I promise to try to get more material on this page that you might find interesting. I'm currently just trying to keep up with the several programs I'm writing, get new video materials filmed at the gym, edit and reply to all the lovely people training! This is a new one, and it works for me! Granted, I do have a kipping and strict HSPU already, but if you don't quite yet and you want to give the kipping drill here a go, I would love to hear how it feels for you! This movement is not currently in any programs, so it's a bit of a trial to see if it's something you might find helpful. My hopes are that YOU DON'T GET INJURED, you dig up a bit of new technique for your kip, and also I wish you find more confidence in your kipping HSPU! Please, if you give this a go I would love for you to get some video of it so I can see how it works for you, and I would really appreciate some feedback about your experience! Thanks, and best wishes from your number one fan 🙂 https://youtube.com/shorts/0M3aSlUQsYw

I really like this video thank you. I will try this. I can do kipping but I would really like to get strict. I am 5’10 and weigh about 160. Any videos or tips to get strict HSPU?

Strength, Timing and ROM for you T2B
I've been absent from the page! I spent a bit over a week helping some friends on their farm up the east coast here in Australia, and between the brutally hot sunshine and manual labor I was absolutely TOASTED at the end of the day! But, I'm back! I just finished editing this video. The intention of the video is to educate the athletes who join my First 4 T2B program about the necessary Strength, Timing and Range of Motion for the T2B, but the concept I think is good for everybody to consider when they are doing their T2B sets and find that something is a bit off. Getting your feet to connect to the bar at the same time your torso reaches its furthest back position is essential to consecutive and fluid reps, as well is your feet reaching their furthest back position when your torso reaches its furthest forward position. If you have a few minutes to watch this video, I would love your feedback and hear if it applies to your training.
