Listening Habits
Curious how people are actually listening right now. I play music for people in a room, in a box, sometimes in my own home. When you put on new music, are you Walking? Driving? Cooking? Lying on the floor?? At work with one earbud in. There’s no wrong answer. Just interested in the habits.

New to empty nesting this year so the routine has changed. If we (me and my husband) are home we have KEXP on, sometimes in multiple rooms depending on what we are doing. The car is tuned to KEXP as well. We add in vinyl from the Record Club plus albums we find at Silver Platters. We have a fun tradition where we listen to a new album for us (not always new music) the weekend we get it. We also get recommendations from our kids, which is so fun! And they have even gifted us albums too. Happy listening everyone!

Brandi Carlile at Filson
My husband is on Filson's customer mailing list and he received an email a couple of weeks ago that they are hosting her today at their flagship store for a Q&A with an acoustic set. Needless to say we got two tickets right away. I am so excited for this event. If you see this and you are going maybe we will see you there!

Thanks to everyone here who donated to the station. If you haven't heard This Fall Drive was officially record-breaking, and it was truly astounding to witness the outpouring of support from our community. 6,814 donors (including 2,449 new Amplifiers) stepped forward to support KEXP, raising $1,647,815! We reached 144% of our goal
