YouTube - and best practices?
Well, I've been adding my Skool link to everything by doing a Google search on my name to see what is live and where. And so, well, I just realised that I have two YouTube channels. Any ideas how to merge them? This is the one I found today, oops. https://www.youtube.com/@sarahleamy https://www.youtube.com/@sleamsartandtravels They both are mostly travel related, one with 350 subscribers and one only with 35 so it's obvious which one to focus on - although that's the one I'd forgotten! Time to combine them to make the most of having a bit of a history but ? Any suggestions as to what'd be best? Thanks, s

I created a Brand Account now but have no idea what’s next!
Rich People VS Poor People
Rich people follow a series of simple actions everyday while poor people do not. Poor people follow a series of simple actions everyday while rich people do not. My point? There is a literal LIST of simple actions anyone can take to either become rich or poor, and you can read it. Want the list? Just comment below with the word: "LIST" and I'll send it over via the DM's

In response to Ted’s premise
That we need to feel what it’s like to make the income we want, to know it, see it, remind ourselves…i edited a screenshot of my Venmo account and it’s now my phones home screen!

@Cameron Hunt Thanks. Im starting to trust it more, acting as if…
Why do I find this so hard?
I was like Ted, a fruit eating, travel loving hippy, I worked in temporary accountancy jobs, saved all my money and went to the first Thai Fruit Festival 12 years ago. I bought a road bike, joined all the other fruit bats and was uploading content to YouTube and my blog. I made £98 in total from ad revenue. But then they changed the requirements that you needed 1k followers, I had around 600. I loved being in South East Asia, I didn't want to come home, and then I made a terrible mistake, when I ran out of money, my mum loaned me some to get home, but I was considering a working holiday visa to Australia instead, and I went back to the UK 😭 A decision I've regret! So anytime I meet anyone saying they never want to leave Bali or whatever country abroad, I tell them, don't go home! Anyway, this is a long post but hopefully you stick with me. I got into an abusive relationship and I'm now a single mother. I thought my niche would be single mum's or survivors of abuse, but I quickly pivoted because these women 1. don't have money for high ticket, 2. really need expert help before coming to my program. So some time has passed and I believe I have found my ideal clients. Yet, I am now afraid and scared to launch anything! Also, I just want to leave the UK already and go abroad and have a business that enables me to live out there without having to come back here, unless it's for a holiday. I have many skills and my background is in accountancy (not an accountant) and when I feel desperate I end up researching things like setting up my own bookkeeping business and do it abroad, as I would only need a laptop really, clients can scan their documents to me - or I pay a company to do that. I just wonder, how do I get out of this self defeating battle with fear? And realistically, how hard is it to get consistent coaching clients? I ran a beta so I have a couple of testimonials, but from what I've seen, you need to convince people to work with you, hence all the scripts being sold as part of business coaching!

Thanks for asking this, being open. My suggestion is to break it all up into smaller steps. Rather than a definitive end goal - which is a stopping point of "Oh, I achieved this..." can you think instead of a direction you want to take? Each day, even the smallest step takes you on that path. Like being on a community like this one on Skool, checking in, listening, these are steps you are actively taking so give yourself credit for that. You can add other little research steps, one a day honestly isn't that hard when you use social media as the tool to find others doing what you want. Notice, listen, take note of what they do that resonates and also of what doesn't. Bit by bit. Go for it! I'm on here wanting to put all my skills into supporting others be creative, explore more. Learning as I go how to use this platform.
Why Your Content Isn’t Turning Into Clients
Let me say something that might sting a little: Most coaches don’t have a sales problem. They have a SYSTEM problem. You’re posting consistently. You’ve built your program. You’re delivering value. But sales feel random. Here’s the mistake: Content → Offer → Hope Hope is not a strategy. The missing piece is the MIDDLE. That middle is: • Conversations • Engagement • Trust • Direction Without it, your audience stays passive. They watch. They like. They save. But they don’t buy. Because they’ve never actually spoken to you. When someone gets on a call with you or has a real DM conversation, everything changes. They feel seen. They feel understood. They see how your offer fits THEM specifically. That’s when buying becomes natural. Here’s the simple flow we implement: Content ⬇ Free value (lead magnet) ⬇ DM or email conversation ⬇ Call ⬇ Offer Content doesn’t sell. Conversations sell. Question for you: Are you currently starting conversations from your content or are you just posting and hoping? Watch the video below to know how to go from CONTENT to CLIENTS 👇

Finding the folks to book calls though? I have a decent online presence but they aren't my clients/customers...that's where I get stuck I think.
