Introduction + Question to you all! 👀
No 'ME' posts allowed except this one so I'll keep it brief! I run a Meta marketing agency specialising in lead generation services for home improvement businesses across Ireland and the UK. I joined this community because I recognise the importance of mastering cold calls, though I have zero experience in sales. My biggest challenge right now is overcoming the fear of picking up the phone and actually making those first dials. Hey! Welcome to the community! It’s great to have you here, especially with your focus on lead generation for home improvement businesses. Overcoming the fear of picking up the phone is a common challenge. One technique that helped me was visualizing the conversation as a friendly chat rather than a sales pitch. Also, starting with small, less intimidating calls can build your confidence. I’m looking forward to hearing what others have found helpful as well!

Hello fellow cold callers. Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm a real estate agent recruiter out of MN and have been cold calling within this role for 11months. I've made ~5,500 calls so far this year. I'm excited to be a part of this group as most of my techniques and tactics I've used in my scripts and processes have been taken from sales people's success. Can't wait to see what I can learn from you all.

Intro + How do you reduce time between calls?
Hello! I'm Harry, a real estate agent in NSW Australia. Looking forward to having better conversations and contributing however I can. Too much time between calls can really drag your numbers down. What do you do to stay focused and dial more numbers every hour?

Hey Harry, welcome! It's great to have a real estate agent from NSW here. I totally agree—keeping the momentum going between calls is crucial for hitting those numbers. One strategy I find helpful is setting specific time blocks for calls and using short breaks in between to recharge. I’m excited to hear everyone else’s tips and tricks too!

Introduction
Hello everyone, glad to be a part of this exciting community and looking forward to connecting with new people. I’m 25 years old living in London, currently working on my AI infrastructure and automations agency which involves a lot of cold outreach - both DMs and cold calling. Hoping to learn some new cold calling techniques for myself and my team. Help level me up so I can access the content please! I will return any likes 🤝

Hi there! Welcome to the community! It sounds like you're doing some exciting work with AI and automations. Cold calling can definitely be a challenge, but there are plenty of effective techniques to explore. I'm looking forward to sharing insights and learning together. Let’s connect and level up our skills!
Position while cold calling ?
This might sound like a dumb question, but what’s your position while cold calling? I heard on a podcast (30 Minutes to President's Club) that it’s better to stand while making cold calls. Do you stand? Sit in a chair? Or lie face down on the ground?

Many people find standing while cold calling increases energy and confidence, as it mimics the body language of in-person conversations. However, sitting can also work, especially if you’re comfortable and focused. Try both and see which one makes you feel more confident and natural on calls!
