Having sold my original bass when life took over 20 years ago, I've since purchased and revamped (correction, got a friend to revamp) an Eastcoast Bass to get back into it again. Hey, I'm Samantha -- been playing punk bass since 2008 and rebelled *hardcore* against lessons. Suffice it to say, Present Sam is not happy with Past Sam, but onward we press. ;) I play a Fender II Precision mainly, but I also have an old JBP and an Ibanez GSR that I pick up once in a while. I'm here to learn, collaborate, and have tons of fun working on playing better bass. 🤘

Learning things is cool. That's why we're here. Having an awesome support group along for the ride is just as important. Now that there are some lessons up, I thought it would be cool for anyone who had a win this week to share it. It can be that you got through a handful of lessons, or you had a solid practice with your band. No win is too small! I'll start. My band managed to book shows for every weekend in September. Usually we play over Labor Day, and then we are on break until after Christmas, so I am super stoked to be playing all month. What's your win?
